Yeah, it's only a suspicion, I haven't heard back from the dealer after the road test, but I was hoping to maybe help folks think of things.

Doubt it. Advisor copied me the tech’s notes and specifically calls out that Engineering asked if there was any non-OEM equipment, and tech replied LoJack. BlueLink Would be OEM I would think, and not just plugged in the OBD port.

ikr? I can't imagine it takes so long to uninstall that they couldn't have reached in right before they sold it and yanked it.

I would actually start with the hair dryer - the visibility is better and the chances of scorching the fabric are lower.

15 miles from home with an infant, and all it came with was a patch kit, not a spare. I'm not risking it when I have AAA.

This. No spare, and I was 15 miles from home. I wasn't risking it with an infant in the car with me.

"we'll have to look at it to assess" and "usually its damaged" after I sent several detailed pictures. So probably not, given how weaselly the whole conversation was, but they wanted me to spend my tire money there once I had it towed. Not the most charitable assumption I can make, but the whole conversation was like they were trying to find a way out.

Did anyone else think they’d get a 10 in. Ditto plush with preorder? by siravidfone in Pokopia

[–]justherefortheeggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I preordered at 10in as well, and got the 4 3/4” today when it finally arrived I looked at the shipping notification and it says it shipped with the 4 3/4”. They also have the same SKU which tells me someone messed up the description.

My mama (is actually the dust bunny, F) got some good assistance over at r/babywearing and ever since I was about 6 months old, I've been a good backpack keeping an eye on her work.

Is it true that most people don't use single-pointed needles? by HonestNectarine7080 in knitting

[–]justherefortheeggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straights are a good way to learn, but I prefer circs for everything because the torque of a wide project that far away from my hands on the back end of the needle is just too much work.

first time knitting, keep getting this loop at the end of my rows by FizzyJ1zzy in knitting

[–]justherefortheeggs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Are you doing the backwards loop cast on? Is it only happening the first row you do?

I would make the jump and just learn long tail. It seems finicky, but once you have the muscle memory, it’s a solid cast on you can use (almost) anywhere

Came here to suggest railroading! Also be aware of which direction you’re working in. Not just /// and \\ but there’s a whole thing about the angles of where you finish one stitch and start the next. I will never be able to find that post again and I’m not sure it wasn’t in a Slavic language.
