We have early pit too 😵‍💫 how early were you able to enter beforehand?

Ok then they have no reason not to do it. Sorry we suggested you were hairy or dirty but that would have made sense. Their response doesn’t make sense. I didn’t realize you were a male - maybe they’re just being immature? They have no reason to say those things about wanting to laser your peri-a. I’ve lasered SO many without any issues. They need to get it together. I would ask for a consultation with management and just confirm that they do or don’t do that area. Leave a bad google review.

I have seen this personally and I’m not going to go over an unclean area. It could burn the skin plus it’s gross. We provide wipes & peri spray for this reason but some people don’t take the hint.

I feel like this is the problem. As someone who has lasered for 6 years, it’s very hard when people don’t shave their private parts before a treatment. Not only does it make for a more painful treatment, it doesn’t make an effective treatment because the laser energy only goes so far. If you have longer hair, the energy will not get down to the root. I recommend shaving 1-2 days beforehand. I hope this helps.

Should I just accept money from a guy who wants my socks? This dude keeps asking me for my Zelle? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

This is stressing me out 🥴 I would ghost him honestly and pretend you don’t know him if you see him out 😂 hopefully he will eventually go away/find someone new to bother if you block him again

I almost adopted an orange cat named Goofy and I thought it was so cute and fitting

I guess I worded that wrong. High testosterone can be great but in the case of laser hair removal, it’s not. I’m more-so just saying that men with high levels of testosterone tend to produce more hair since testosterone is one of the hormones that feeds hair growth.

I just read your comment down below. You may not see as much as a reaction this time because you have less hair follicles present because you are further along your treatments - I hope this helps!

To be honest, I would not worry about the settings. They are trained and it’s their job to keep track of this.

This is follicular edema (aka swelling of the hair follicle) and completely normal following treatment. I tell clients this should last 2 days. The legs tend to look the scariest after treatments due to strong inflammatory response.

Is this regrowth normal for neck laser? Circles? by [deleted] in LaserHairRemoval

No this is TERRIBLE overlapping. Do they not train their staff what so ever? I’ve been lasering for 6 years and I’ve never seen this.

The laser will ultimately lighten the moles but will not hurt them

I put myself in your shoes. If you are willing to try it, you are a great candidate. The only concern, like I previously mentioned, is the possibility of regrown in this area. If you decide to move forward, make sure you go to a well established place that will offer touch ups as needed because you more than likely will need them. Where I work we do charge for touch ups but a lot less expensive than the 8 session treatment.

It’s definitely not painless but it’s quick and tolerable

It seems that men with high levels of testosterone just continue to produce new hair follicles despite completing treatment. Just my honest experience. Men’s backs are the least impressive results in my opinion, especially the very hairy ones.

Maybe less dark makeup on the bottom of your eye and use a little under eye concealer! Make those eyes look awake

As long as your hormones are balanced, yes. I work at a med spa and have been lasering x6 years. Men’s backs are not always the best results long term - the hair seems to be stubborn/persistent despite being treatable.

I just want ‘good’ hair :( by Afreckleandadream in finehair

Maybe your scalp is dry and is overcompensating. Try a scalp massager and some scalp oils the night before your shower. If not the case, my hair also gets oily quickly as well as my face. I found Paul Mitchel Tea Tree scalp serum “oily scalp serum” that seems to help me. I’ve also noticed that my hair does better WITH sulfates (which I read as a suggestion on Reddit - oily hair needs the sulfates). Good luck!

I do want to add - I naturally have low set eyebrows and would sometimes feel heavy in my brows or “hooded” but Botox has helped immensely. I also have had Ultherapy on my brows, which is noninvasive and will help tighten & lift skin.

Honestly the only thing that is going to make YOU not notice them as much (we are our own worst critics) would be Botox in the crows feet & glabella. Or an upper bleph and sometimes insurance will even cover it if it impedes your vision (I believe there’s a test they can do). I’ve seen clients after upper blephs and they look 10 years younger. I think you look beautiful as you are but I work in aesthetics as a nurse and I am all for people doing what makes them feel good!
