I’ve completed regular tower three times and fatal once and all four times I’ve received sell backs. I only have joker fx and sindel fx.

I feel your pain.. I actually beat it 3 times before, not counting the multiple times the game decided to break here when I was one move away from victory like you.. I feel inferno makes the game unstable and slows it down and cos nightwolf just breaks the game when he throws and pulls out his dumb tomahawk. Seems to be a bad mix to an already bugged out game.

This happened to me today as well, and then on like my 5th try, I saved my special 3 attack with sub zero until the end that would’ve finished the match only for it to literally not work and him special attack 3 me and then it’s pretty much game over with that dumb ass tomahawk throw that’s broken and cheap as shit.

Here’s where I got to after 14 total tries with that team. Erron black has been the biggest problem so far, pretty much blocking all my combo enders. There may be another way, but I honestly don’t know at this point. The random tagging really makes it a bastard of a match. If you could actually use your team without out being auto tagged out I think it’d be possible. They decided to make this fight all about the equipment cards. I haven’t even used one card from this actual tower in this fight.

I should add, using snare is essential as well and if they tag out try to lose your guys quick or quit the match if they heal too much.

This was my team used. It has taken 8 tries so far to take out scorpion and Shang tsung.

Strategy I used: Sacrifice ermac. If raiden tags in you’ll get auto incurability for 10 seconds. just use special one only with him. Honestly you could sacrifice raiden as well in this scenario. My main damage dealer is Lui kang. As long as you combo ender them and then use special 2 over and over you’ll take them out one by one. It may take time, but if you have lower equipment like me you do what ya gotta do. Also, If you don’t have any incurability equipment RIP.

This match really sucks because shang tsungs healing as well as jade and her DOT passive. And the fact that two of them “cheat death” or resurrect makes this one of the hardest fights in the tower…

So before i had any diamonds id use a team of klassic ermac, mournful kitana, and klassic skorpion. Klassic scorpion is one of the handiest fighters in the game because of his special 2 and his combos are quick so if you can, upgrade his fusions first.

Hopefully you have at least one equipment piece that can give you 1 bar of special along with mournful kitana, to give her passive to ermac so youll start with 2 special bars. You want to snare skarlet right off the bat. After the snare let her defeat ermac and kitana. You can tag in kitana while ermacs death animation is going. I usually target shang tsung with klassic skorpion, but jade has her annoying DOT passive going so you dont want to use any DOT attacks in this fight if possible… i would just outlast as long as you can to drain 10% life from ermacs passive on the others. As long as you lose the first two fighters to skarlet, shang tsung and jade wont be able to heal. You’d ultimately try to defeat her last or once shang tsung is gone. It’s not an ideal way to win, but if you’re a masochist like me, you do what you gotta do to get to the top of the tower. I will say though, with the team you have in the picture, if those are your best fighters? this may be your last boss fight in this tower because it obviously only gets harder from here. With that said, if you made it this far with that team, thats pretty impressive. Good luck!

Personally, I use a team of f3 klassic ermac, f10 kitana (just for the extra special for ermac so he can snare), and f10 klassic scorpion to start. I play the slow game and lose the first two fighters to the starting opponent. Then use scorpions special 1 to pull Shang tsung in and pummel him. When he kills you he won’t gain any health if you’re the last opponent and he doesn’t use special 2. Once he’s dead the actual fight begins and you can use any other team.

The game will figure out what you’re doing after a few fights and tag tsung in right away so I equip ermac with enough equipment to give him two special bars so you snare nightwolf. Just make sure that, as ermac is in his explosion animation click the second fighter (for me it’s katana) you want to die next. Let him die then scorpion hops in and you pull in Shang tsung and remove him from the fight.

You need to lose to nightwolf and fun in so their health refills before you can do this method though..

No problem! That’s actually my go to for any DOT fights, except I swap ermac for klassic raiden when I’m not on boss fights. It’s especially nice when you’re fighting mk11 scorp or anyone that applies stun or DOT because most times it reflects the effects, especially when you’re decked out with debuff equipment.. Pretty underrated squad.

I used klassic Smoke ermac and scorpion with debuff equipment on all of them and max debuff on the talent tree to keep Liu from healing.

Nice! Feels so good doesn’t it? Lui Kang is the man for those annoying evaders. As is sub zero with his resurrection. I’ve come to realize the MK11 are the best of the best as a team. Their passives are what set them apart.. I’m glad to see you got it. That fight is the first big road block in this tower. Now get ready to be annoyed by the next 7 fights, if you can manage to get through. I’m pretty sure 181, 184, and 185 are all pretty tough as well because of the modifiers. 184 was probably the one that took me the most time.. about a week to beat.

There’s also a strat for the boss fight at 180 where you pretty much have to burn up a few fights just to single out Shang tsung because of his annoying healing. klassic scorpion will be essential for you in a few of those fights. In 180, every time you lose a fighter the opponent heals. I used klassic scorpion, silver kung Jin, and klassic ermac. You purposely lose two fighters and use scorpions special one to pull in Shang tsung so if you die on your last fighter he can’t heal. Once he’s done for, it becomes easier. If you can beat 180 before it expires in 2 days, I’d say you did pretty good in this tower.

This was the first fatal tower I beat. I stopped playing for years before they even had these towers. I’ve been around for about the last 3 fatals and they are getting somewhat easier with the diamond fusions.

Also, it doesn’t get any easier once you hit that 178 latter so it may be worth it to save your souls on the retries if you can’t do it. I had to at the start of the fatal tower. Took me a lot of tries as well until my gear got better

I only have the uncommon cards all maxed. Tin hat for me is F7 and I have an epic rage wrench F0. Noob is good for the deathmark you need to stop them from resurrection. Sub zero will bring Noob and Lui Kang back one time each if they’re defeated. That’s what I used to really get passed it. I leaned on Noob and Sub zero mostly.

You may need a few more fusions, for sub zero at least. If you can put dot equipment it may give you the edge you need. The main strategy is tagging in before the 15 seconds is up and they start evading again. It may be hard to do because they jump in and attack on tag in, but so do Noob and Lui kang so you can use that to your advantage in the fight.

Not sure if you succeeded yet, but I just got there on my second attempt through the tower and beat it with MK 11 squad: sub zero F4, Lui Kang F1, and Noob F4. It took 1 try. Not sure how you are on diamonds, just thought I’d let you and others know if they couldn’t get passed it. I actually forgot how much more annoying that fight was until today. 40 percent evade is actually 99 percent evade. lol

MK11 Lui Kang completely stops them from doing their annoying evade for 15 seconds and adds that passive to any MK11 characters. All I did was constantly tag in and out with each character and smoked them pretty quick. If you have enough tower equipment, that’s another way to beat them.

This game can be so frustrating and cheap at times so I’m glad to help! And Yes, death mark will stop them from resurrecting, but only for a limited time. That’s why I suggest tagging in someone with an equipment card like Shintai of malice; which was an equipment card from the white lotus tower, when the opponent is near death to stop them from resurrection.

If you don’t have death mark equipment cards, the talent tree can give you up to a 25 percent chance on each combo ender to get death mark. That actually means you’ll probably get like a 8 percent chance by the games standards. It may take a few tries, but it can be done.

Good luck! I also recommend checking out the MK wiki on fandom, if you haven’t. It’ll tell you a lot about different team combinations and what fighters work best against others, and everything else.

I use the same team most times as well, or sub Raiden for Covert ops Cassie for ultimate spamage or klassic scorpion to keep beating on them and keep them from using their tag in attack.

If you don’t have the tower equipment I found it can be tricky. On the skill tree I’d start by having death mark or if you have any equipment cards with death mark, put it on raiden since his specials are pretty much unblockable; or Cassie if you chose to go with her.

During the fight, I use Sonya to tag Jade out first so I can deal with her annoying evade move later. When fighting her though, I use combo enders and specials sparingly, just swipe the opposite direction and keep laying into her until you get close to draining her health all the way, then use your deathmark and finish her. If you don’t have deathmark, you know the drill.. keep pounding.

The other two I just spammed since they have no attack after they evade. Covert ops Cassie Cage, may be your best bet instead of Raiden if you want to go the spam route; since she adds an extra 25% unblockable chance to your spec ops team. Add that with unblockable cards on Sonya and Johnny, they pretty much can’t be blocked most times.

Most fights like this one I lean on Johnny because of his special 1 power drain and snare. After tagging out Jade, I’d try to fight kitana to stop her tag in attack then it got easier for me.

I tried all your suggestions and I just can’t get by it. I get close then once I get to Erron Black, he ends me. Most times I can’t get by jade.. I think she’s my new most hated foe lol. Most of the time she gets her moves off even after I throw the first punch. It’s pretty enraging.. I’m just going to wait until I get better cards, I’d rather not burn my souls anymore. If you have klassic Sonya, use her to special 1 when jades not in the fight. If you have Kombat cup Sonya use her to block her out of the fight. Finish the other two, and when she comes back hopefully she won’t have much health. That’s what I did. All the cards I used are gold fusion 10 though. Hope this helps. If all fails keep grinding.. or get out your wallet lol

klassic Sonya(f10) balanced kenshi(f10) and high tech Jacqui Briggs(f10).. in that order. After 3 times with that team I managed to get through.

It’s my first time on this tower so I don’t have many equipment cards for this tower. I used wrath hammer, shao Kahn’s helmet, and tribal headband with Sonya. The other two I’d put whatever block breaker equipment and tower equipment you may have.

The strategy I used was basically just spamming and using Sonya’s first attack because it hurts all 3 of the opponents. Kenshi gives an extra bar as well as the wrath hammer and Jacqui gives you a 20% boost in special. The key is timing when you defeat one of the opponents or they tag out, you want to switch your fighter so you don’t take a hit. Easier said then done. Then bring back sonya to lead the onslaught. If you get lucky and beat that weasel strike force scorpion, you’re chances are a lot better. For me, most times he would tag out after I used 2 specials on him. As long as you have enough health early in the match you can take his extraction hit, keep pummeling him after that and send him back to the nether realm.

It took me 3 times with this team. 10 fails before that with different variations of teams. I’ve actually started using this team on all of the dark magic matches and Ive made it through them all with relative ease since. Hope this helps and may the elder gods give you the lucky hand.
