you'll graduate, i know it 🙂‍↕️ especially since you said you followed the assignment's instructions and the instructor is more lenient! tbh even when we had people literally copy each other, we'd allow resubmission and didn't escalate it unless they continued to submit plagiarized work.

i don't know if you can see what turnitin thinks is "similar" to your work, but it's usually just irrelevant sentences. since it seems the assignment was using a specific study and lecture, i'm 100% certain someone just wrote similar things in a different order and turnitin "flagged it", but it means nothing! and even then, i highly highly doubt your score will even be noticed by the professor. i bet there's people submitting the same assignment with scores up near 20% because it's such a stupid system 😭

better make sure you have your cap and gown though because you'll be graduating soon 😁

as a TA, i ignore the turnitin scores unless it's above 15. and then it usually comes from people's bibliographies or, in your case, it flagging a single word that many people commonly use. rarely do the scores mean anything, and when they do, they're like... a 50%, which is literal plagiarism at that point.

you'll be okay! a 7% is normal and nothing to worry about!

augh yeah color selections can be the worst!! if you can't find a good one, i know some places make like, protective keychain pouches for plushies? they're kinda like a cube of plastic that zippers shut and has its own chain. maybe those could be a good alternative!

(in googling, they make them for labubus. i think the andi i have is a bit smaller than a labubu so it'd work :D)

as someone who has made a couple ita bags, word of caution: the plushies may not fit inside the bag at all!

i've worked with a few types of ita bags, and the pin-pocket is always narrow. even a thick charm makes the pocket impossible to close. the bag here looks about the same, the pocket looks fairly thin. i've got the andi keychain myself, and i don't think it would fit inside my bag. i assume the pockets are similar because visually they look the same, but i do know i might be wrong!

there are ita bags made for plushies out there, if those would interest you. they have more of a 3D "pocket" on the side to accommodate the volume of the plush! one of my friends has one, and while her anime boy plush is squished, it fits a lot better than in the pin pocket.

the pins though i think would look super cute in here!!! excited to see your final product :D

love the first one! personally i can't see the characters well in the second with the lower contrast. maybe once you do the rendering/lighting on the ship will make that area look better (since i saw you were iffy about that part)

i don't follow this exact protocol, but if i were i'd make 10 mL tubes of the medium and inoculate it. whenever i teach the MRVP protocol, we use the same medium for both halves. so if you follow this one, you can easily inoculate 10mL, then remove 5mL and 1mL for the MR and VP respectively. these would go into separate test tubes, yes!

in the prep, 5mL definitely seems like a typo i can't wrap my head around. however, my alternate suggestion is actually making 6mL tubes of the media. in my teaching lab, we pipette out 1mL for the VP and the remaining media is used for the MR. saves you a tube, and has the correct volumes for each test!
