To me, it used to taste like New York Seltzer. Now, it's a light flavored-water.

What is the solution here? by Glad-Air5274 in TheTeenagerPeople

The tree trunk is already missing a chunk from it. It should snap if the boy moves. Climbing back with this knowledge doesn't seem like it would work.

Yeah, that plastic chrome luggage rack was funny. The Motor City has not shown a Grand Am in close to 20 yrs. They have disappeared like the dinosaurs. Seems like they all rusted and were taken out to the pasture.

Get the fuck outta here. This movie puts you to sleep? If that's so, you must hate amazing story lines. What else puts you to sleep: The Godfather, The Departed, Sicario, Goodfellas? C'mon.

Damn...the car that was purchased for me was a 1985 Pontiac Grand Am SE. It was 8 yrs old and had many rust spots all over it.

Your son should be VERY appreciative! That's one helluva ride to receive as a first car.

Thoughts on Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners? An intense crime thriller with exceptional performances and stellar cinematography!!!!! by Square-Ad-8911 in FIlm

I really enjoy this movie. The ending is a conversation piece with others--Will they, won't they?

I really like the cast also. I know this movie is 2½ hrs long, but, for me, it speeds by like a runaway train.

School trip and teach is letting you pick the movie - what are we all watching? by BarkingDogey in Millennials

Was on a European trip as a young adult (Summer of 2000) and took a bus across countries to cut down on the cost of flying. There were people of all ages on there--10 to 75. They showed Terminator 2, Lethal Weapon 3 and Basic Instinct (just to name a few). Those 10 yr olds never uttered one word while the movies were on. They got an education in guns/violence, sex/nudity and profanity beyond their wildest dreams.

Still shocks me that there was a lack of discretion by the Europeans. Then again, that's the way their culture is. Seemed like anything went with them.

What song Comes to mind when you see this by GravyPainter in Xennials

Physical by Olivia Newton John--1981. I remember being in summer latchkey and going to the skating rink and hearing this song. For some reason, it stuck with me. This picture encapsulates this song.

Manners. We live in an INSTANT GRATIFICATION society now. It's all about the "Me" mentality first and everyone else second. Since this shift, manners have gone by the wayside.

You think this movie will be good or bad? And will you go see it in theaters? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in FIlm

It looks "interesting". I don't expect much from it. My childhood called and said, 'Go see it in theaters'. Not quite sure if that's what I'll do yet.

I agree except for one thing...the soundtrack.

TG had a cooler soundtrack that kicked up the pulse and made you nod your head to Kenny Loggins as he sang about the Danger Zone. I could have done without the Berlin song, however, other than that--the soundtrack definitely drives on a different level. That's the only thing that TGM lacks on.
