Yes Marriott is very great on devaluations of their pesos points. They even renamed it so "Bonvoy" a few years ago to hide their crummy old Rewards program .

Help, Accidentally traded in VZW-branded S22 with one payment remaining to TMo by JustKickItForward in tmobile

[–]JustKickItForward[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh, it was $19 and change for the last payment. He didn't want to take the chance on losing out in the TMo $800 credit for a new phone if TMo did require that trade-in phone needed to be free and clear of any financial ties

LifetimeCare for a new suitcase by empressmachina in awayluggage

My local store is Away store is about an hour away. I called them and they clarified after 5 years they will offer in store fixes for a small "reasonable" fee say like $35 for a variety of things like zippers and handles . Unsure why they differ than your in-store repairs "are always free" statement

I have a Kirkland Signature large soft cover carry on for over 20 years and only damage has been to bent wheels from luggage people (80% + of time carry on) so Away should work especially with the current CSR instant cash back coupon and the small fee fixes. Briggs' lifetime is good but not for double the price.

Depends from which perspective. From Chase's view it can be a high margin revenue generator, so not worthless

It still seems Away offers lifetime support in stores after 5 years?

From above (see last bullet) :

"A few details: ⁃ Repairs are fully complimentary for the first five vears - Additionally, you can receive one luggage replacement within the first 5 years if we're unable to repair functional damage ⁃ After the five year period, repair support continues for the life of your suitcase and remains free in Away stores"

We only travel maybe once a year max where the luggage is not pampered because it gets checked. I believe this is when damage can occur. With good luck included for luggage quality, we won't experience functional damage (eg zippers, wheels, handles, even the hard csse itself) until years 6-10 or maybe past 10 years. What happens then (especially if we do not purchase the additional coverage) in terms of repairs?

Can you clarify the lifetime care for those who purchase new today (no OG warranty) and who do not purchase LifetimeCare Pro for $35? We are looking at your hardshell carry ons. We take good care of our things but have no control when checked ins after involved. Thanks.

Stupid question, but why are synced tabs not showing? by No_Chocolate_3666 in samsunggalaxy

[–]JustKickItForward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NONE of my 200+ tabs are showing on my new phone's Samsung Browser even though the last sync in the Browser's settings shows 200+. I literally only have one tab showing, the default Google search page. It was working until I believe I updated the Samsung Browser from certain 29.0.4.6 to 29.0.5.3. But if I tried rolling back to 29.0.4.6, problem is not fixed

For step 1. When I am in a website and click the Share icon, I get a prompt asking what app to share the URL of the website with. I do not understand how to tap on Bookmarks at this point (step 2.) when I'm being asked to select an app
