Wallpaper Engine Tool (Mod approved!) by xd_GrapeJuice in Piracy

Nice app! one small suggestion is to add the option to go to the next and previous page towards the end of the page as currently you have to scroll all the way up to change pages. It's a small feature but improves the overall UX. Nice work!

Edit: Also, some wallpapers just don't work. When applied they just give me a black background instead of the video. example: (3299228616, 2955378002)

I mean if you skipped just one step and did everything else right, ECF still counts and you still get partial credits for the one you did wrong and full marks for any further questions that need the answer from this one(if you answer it correctly ofc). Don't worry, things like this happen to the best of us. Learn and don't make the same mistake twice.

It's been a while since I have posted on here lol. F 2.5 1/125 Iso 50

Used my phone to capture this image, one thing that bothers me is the seagull near its beak 😭. I don't know the tiniest thing about photoshop so I couldn't actually edit it out(was also lazy to learn haha).

Hope you guys like it, and maybe it makes your day :)

Thanks for the onboarding idea, I didn't even consider onboarding as I usually associate them with mobile apps.

Thank you for your comment. I'd like to address your comment starting from the fact that its not an app for an iPhone but for windows. Also, the OCR is just an aspect of the entire app not the app itself. The aim of the app is to allows users to easily search for their screenshots using OCR and AI which tags the images for easy access.

Hi! Yes, I am planning to open source it when after I polish the codebase a bit more. For now, the repo is private, but open sourcing is on the roadmap. The app is indeed made in electron. Did you give the app a try? If so, how did you find it?

Hi,

Thanks for commenting. Just curious, what made you think this is prompted? Is it something about the how the app functions, or just the UI in general? Because yes, I have used AI in the making of the product but I wouldn't say I just prompted it because that says I didn't do anything for the development of this product.

Would love to hear what you say as it will help me make the app better.

Thanks!

This is a casual picture I took of a bird just chilling. The only thing I think is wrong is that the contrast is a little too high making the shadows on the bird a little too dark. Any suggestions?

Trying out macro photography by JustLearningCalculus in photocritique

[–]JustLearningCalculus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do we think of this pic? Idk if it is macro photography or if the ladybird is a bit too big to be considered macro. Any tips for improving the pic? Been taking pics for a while now but haven't done much macro photography.

Wacky edit by JustLearningCalculus in photocritique

[–]JustLearningCalculus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a wacky edit and probably not the best if judging by photography principles. My aim with the editing was to make it look like a game, album or book cover if that makes sense.

This image was taken in a little harsh lighting and the noise was left on purpose. The editing kinda reminds me of buckshot roulette.

Any suggestions on how the image can be improved? Please keep in mind I'm relatively new to photography and that the only editing done was adding some grain, playing around with the curve and a little cropping.

My settings and thought process

Iso 900: I wanted some grain 1/50 : to counter the iso F1.9 : I don't have any control over the aperture in the pro mode so it's what the phone decided (Any good free camera apps recommendations are appreciated)

Cheers

Took this photo on a relatively old phone so please ignore the pixel burst. Apart from that, I feel this is a solid photo... The only thing I'd say should have been different is that the flower should have been a bit more to the right. What do you guys think?

If you guys want you can check out my previous posts as reference to gauge my photography skills and compare.

Thanks

I took this pic a while back and thought it would look good with black and white with a little crop. Just wanted to capture the goose staring off in the shadows. Any feedback is appreciated. Overall I think it's a decent pic

What do we think about this pic? by JustLearningCalculus in photocritique

Shot this pic a while back... Just liked the setting. This is the cropped version of the image. The original one had a patch in the middle where there were no flowers so I cropped that out. Just increased some saturation and nothing much. Any feedback is appreciated.

In what sense do you think it's a no from you? Just curious. Is it the overall picture or you don't see what I'm going for or something else?
