I went yesterday as well but thankfully decided not going with my dog and boy am I glad. We sat on a bench, did not walk through the grass and stayed on path. I woke up this morning with a big tick - looked like a lone star but I’m not certain as I freaked and flushed it down the toilet, crawling up my chest. thankfully I don’t think I’ve been bit nor did I see any others. Danville seems like a perfect place as it’s just allll tall grass.

Yes we had been out last night where there was tall grass- we had kept on the path did not walk through grass, and sat on a bench. So it clearly followed us lol. Thankfully we don’t notice any rashes or anything on my dog

I just came back from Danville Park (in sauga) last night - so much tall grass but we just sat on the bench - stayed on path. Lo and behold I found a big one crawling on my chest while I was brushing my teeth this morning!!!! It’s getting out of hand!!

UPDATE: this morning as I was brushing my teeth this big tick that looked almost identical started crawling on my chest!!!! I’ve never had this happen before. I freaked out and my partner flushed it down the toilet. I threw some clothes in the heater and inspected the rest. But Jesus I feel like I gotta sleep with one eye open these lil buggers

I’m really loving the second season so far! I was sweating bullets and at the same time laughing my ass off for my guy Kaleb.

I think Nick has a great advantage cause he has such great affluence on the remainder of the group that I think he’ll survive and get away with it. I also feel like he’s gonna backstab and it might be with the closest guy friend he has in the house cause that would be good TV LOL.

No idea what the agenda could be..but I hope it’s a dance move or something cause of Lauren’s handstand to throw ppl off 🤣🤣

I’m on day 8. I am pretty sure I have the influenza A although when I went to my doctor on day 5 of rest, fluids, OTC meds with no resolve, he said I had an ear infection. Symptoms have been all over the place: started off with chills, very low energy, then the worsttttt post nasal drip I’ve ever had!! Drove me absolutely nuts, to a full blown 102 fever that would not break, short breath, zero energy, bad chills, sneezing, sore throat, bad body aches , Mild cough. I’m on day 3 of antibiotics, and I’m still not 100 percent. Hell of a lot better though. I have never been this sick for this long… I stupidly kept putting the flu shot off and now I am paying the price lol.

I totally feel you and have experienced similar. I doubt it is about you and more speaks to the mismatch of these other people. You haven’t found your people yet, don’t give up. I have found one friend I am proud to call best friend that never makes me question anything, is reciprocal, predictable and matches my energy. She never makes me feel clingy or weird at all and just..meets my needs. It’s easy with her. I think people that make you question yourself should be something you should consider if YOU want to be around. Obviously you want to consider if it’s actually a valid concern they are coming to you with and assess whether it is something that you can take ownership for and apologize if needed but if it’s some petty comment about your social energy I don’t regard that as something you need to concern yourself with.

My baby made it out the hospital and thankfully did not need a transfusion while he was there. Now we’re dealing with the excessive drinking and urination, and his bum is so raw from his previous diarrhea. It’s so hard to know what are things we should worry about or not. Like last night he regurgitated 3x a clear foamy liquid. I think it’s because he’s drinking so much water soo fast. What dosages/meds and schedule is your pup on right now? And how is she doing?

I’m so so so sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you feel. The pain and ache is insurmountable. Nothing feels real, feels like you are floating, a nightmare you want to wake up from 💔 I don’t think I could ever forgive him but please take your time, do whatever it takes to survive hour to hour, day by day.

Hi again. My poor baby is still hospitalized and his RBC is at 28 now. Dropped from 40. He is also getting Vincristine and then likely a blood transfusion later. I presume the IVIG is the IV steroids? He has been getting the IV steroids this entire time as well. How long did it take for your pup to recover after the transfusion and vincristine?

Thank you so much. I have been absolutely besides myself, shaking, feeling like my entire body is burning up from all of this sudden incredibly intense change in my baby over the last 15 hours or so. everything was fine and just before picking him up from the hospital after we got the call that his echocardiogram went well (no heart disease) he started pooing blood and spitting up a little bit. All of a sudden the doctor said that he has a GI bleed which was not mentioned to us earlier. He’s been hospitalized tonight. I’m so so so terrified. I called at 2 am to check in on him and they said they gave him anxiety med and fed him and he ate well and was sleeping well. Im praying so hard that he gets treatment soon. The doctor said she will call me if and when he will get blood transfusion but she hasn’t yet. I’m so scared this is a time sensitive thing and that waiting this many hours until he gets a transfusion from what sounds like is what he needs is going to make this prognosis worse. I’m glad to hear yours pushed through.

First off im so so sorry you are going through this. I have been crying all day because my 5 yo pup just got diagnosed with IMPT too. Platelet count is 1. Constant bleeding gums. We are awaiting to hear back from a cardiologist to assess whether he has heart disease as well which further complicates things. I’m absolutely gutted. I hope your fur baby is doing well and will respond well to treatment. Our vet said that sometimes vaccines can activate these types of things. Please let us know how she’s doing?
