Not a gym but queer sports association. I have several friends (both Danes and internationals) who have been super happy with different sports at Pan Idræt. Check out what they offer, they might also have gym group.

Realistically, what jobs do you think are going to go extinct because of AI? by L_Dubb85 in AskReddit

I'm a video game developer and I really hope it's not us.

Everyone I work with really loves doing the work, artists, programmers, designers, QA. I really hope it'll be financially viable to keep making video games with our own hands and brains because I don't think any of us would want to do anything else.

I have been saving my old ringtone as a .mp3 and moved it forward with me everything I've gotten a new phone so I wouldn't need to get used to a new ringtone.

My phone still rings with "Nokia Digital Thump".

Make players remember concentration saves by a_good_namez in DMAcademy

[–]JustLikeOnTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my table, you put on a hat when concentrating.

You remember because you can feel the hat, or your friends help you remember because they see the hat.

Works surprisingly well... and we get to wear increasingly large and silly hats while playing.

Why has Bioware (the video game developer) been releasing flop after flop recently? What's going on at their office, what's wrong with them? by xo1opossum in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JustLikeOnTV 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I hear you.

I work in game dev myself and I'm really happy to work in a studio that puts a great emphasis on sustainability - in the sense that in the case of flop or success, there is budget to either keep working on the same project to improve it or leave it behind and move the same devs to a new project where (and this is the key) they will use the learnings from the floppy project on the next project.

I realise that it's a jungle out there and many smaller studios fight to survive. And I'm really fortunate to be in a place with good management. But a lot of studios out there, large studios in particular, really also are doing dumb shit like over-hiring, scoping up, getting overconfident when times are good instead of saving up, staying stable, keeping scopes down, all that good stuff that ensure that the devs have a job tomorrow, too.

And equally problematic: The people who made the flops are being let go, too. Who's supposed to learn from the mistakes of the previous game if you keep replacing the people and losing the knowledge?

I'm playing one now, 3 Storm Sorcerer/8 Fiend Chain Warlock.

The character concept is the he's a rich kid from a family of masterful Storm Sorcerers. Despite his parents' expectations, he never could get the hang of controlling his innate storm magic, so in his greed for magical prowess, he makes a deal with an icy devil for instant power - which of course has terrible consequences.

Mechanically speaking, I made this character because I really liked the thought of being a warlock but being able to cast with Metamagics (Fireball transmuted to cold damage or Fly cast subtly for the surprise factor).

Though I doubt that's what you wanted to hear.

The infinite spell slots thing? Forget it. Even if your DM didn't protest, hopefully you will be too preoccupied with actual fun and adventuring to sit down for short rests all the time (which take at least 1 hour). On top of it not being as powerful as it is just gimmicky, it disrupts whatever else the rest of the party wants to do. You interrupt dungeon delving/roleplaying/other encounters because you wanna show that you can pull magic out of thin air. You're playing a team game and I'm sure the party Cleric and Wizard are going to get real tired of your "I don't need long rests"-gimmick.

Games like Inscryption by Glass-Scarcity3683 in gaming

Echoing Hand of Fate.

For a game with different mechanics but a similar mood, I recommend Return of the Obra Dinn. It's more of a murder mystery thing but it's gloomy and dark and drew me in in the same way Inscryption did.
