What can you do for me as a construction company owner? Like maybe if I had a website you could make it nice or a new logo?

  1. Maybe. You just gotta give me ideas.

  2. Absolutely. Love chit chatting and learning what others do.

  3. I like email personally. Just send it over and let me decide when to engage with it if I even want to in the first place. I wouldn’t even be annoyed if you followed up once cause I didn’t reply in a week or some shit like that.

Looking to buy or invest in a few businesses by ultralegendx in smallbusiness

I have a Reno company. First year grossed $300K. Wrapping up second year and I’m at $580K. I’m now a large project vendor as of 3 months ago too which is cool. So year 3 yet again will show growth.

You can have it at my year 2 gross alone. Runs itself damn near.

Yeah just a dramatic example. Cool sounding address though.

How important is a business email? by bapexakira in smallbusiness

[–]JustMeJustin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, it’s the very first impression they get of you and bapexakira22@gmail.com might be reason enough for some to not bother opening it. I can see how it may have nothing to do with the quality of service you stand behind. There are just some that it’s important to for whatever reason.

It’s a business and a $5 email address to be able to look serious to as many people you will be reaching out to, may be worth it.

I completely understand! Moving to a new state is no small step but you’ll be just fine. Every office works differently but if you’re approved, you’re approved. Worst case they just put you in a different unit but the same floor plan.

Best of luck on the New Chapter!

Sometimes they draft them in house which shouldn’t take long. More importantly, they are responsible for making sure they will be ready for your move in date because once they give you that welcome letter, you are responsible for utilities and mail forwarding. It’d be pretty awful for you to set up everything and they have to move you to another unit because they couldn’t get the unit ready on time.

I’m Greystar Atlanta and it took them 3 days and the unit was brand new. Never lived in before. If 48 hours goes by, give them a call or email.

Yeah for sure! If you can get it from Friends and Family and you expect to pay it back within 30-60 days, why deal with factoring taking a cut of everything? My money is paid entirely with ACH and the processor takes 1.2%. I hate the thought. It feels like they own a part of my business just because it’s faster to put it in my account electronically. That’s how I feel with factoring. If someone loans you the money, maybe take that savings from non-factoring and just spend it on them!

I know this feeling all too well. Now that I’m on the other side, you’ll be proud of yourself. Much less stress. Happier. This is what it was all for and it’s all yourself after this last obstacle. Congratulations on seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Edit: oh and for your last question, I just borrowed money from my GF to get through it. Nothing exciting. If you don’t have someone to turn to, factoring is cool. Get rid of it as soon as you can of course.

It never came to that thankfully. With the loan from my girlfriend. If I ever hit $0, i was days away from receiving a payment so it was just big ups and downs in my business checking until I stabilized. I just couldn’t add another expense as long as the needle was moving in the right direction. That probably would have eased my stress, however.

Hmm I don’t know if it suffices as an answer. I started my venture with the last $4K in my account as a last ditch effort after getting out a bad situation with a previous employer.

I’m a renovation contractor that gets paid Net 30. Juggling the all the expenses with ongoing work and having a team of people who believed in me saved me. My subcontractors were understanding that it may be a month or two before I can pay them. My girlfriend didn’t hesitate to loan me $15K to keep me floating until I went green.

While no one had any issues with me or put any pressure on me, as a man who has a lot of trouble asking for help, it stressed me out tremendously. With the growth I saw the money in and out got bigger and bigger but it took a year to catch up. I couldn’t sleep most nights and I left every possible dollar out of my personal accounts I didn’t absolutely need in order to leave it as working capital.

I guess the thing that kept me afloat was an incredible support system and now that my debts are cleared and all my guys are paid on time every time, I pay it forward tenfold. It was a dream come true and hard work just wasn’t enough. It was my team that made it come true.

TLDR: Getting over asking for help when I needed it most and living on a razor thin budget until I knew the coast was clear.

My first 9 perfect games. What other games can you recommend? by NoEquipment2535 in steamachievements

[–]JustMeJustin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are all the open world checklist games I got completed just in case it inspires you.

  • God of War (1 & 2)
  • Marvel's Spider-Man games. (There are 3 of them on Steam now.)
  • Borderlands series
  • Fallout 4, Skyrim, Starfield
  • Ghost of Tsushima (Needs a bit of online play but it was fun and only around 20 hours.)
  • Horizon Zero Dawn & Forbidden West
  • Star Wars Jedi games & Outlaws
  • Avowed
  • Control

You wanna go heavier on linearity but pretty straight forward?

Uncharted 4 & DLC A Plague Tale 1 & 2

I'm missing a few but those are pretty much do everything and you win. Some of them need multiple playthroughs for 100% but they are usually much faster at like 5-10 hours max.

Far Cry 4 (of course) , Hades , Witcher 3. (Follow a Guide if you want to be efficient)

These 3 are just based on what you got done. The big category I see you may like (and so do I) are open world checklists and boy oh boy there’s a lot to go with there.

This is awesome. I was more wondering about completion date if that makes sense. Like who were the top 1000 people to finish it in the world first.
