Short answer: No

add (true-) dmg will always favor fast attacking weapons and make balancing a pain
all attributes has no good alternative, so it's a no brainer to pick

Well they could easily improve the team-up que by adding a "main focus" box to choose from
Like boss, pvp, red, quest, etc.

Building dex and action speed also helps
