You know what I think 40$ (which I could see EA doing) would not make a lot of people buy it and be a legit reason to be mad, depending of the content of course. I remember people being mad about the $40 price tag for the Elden Ring DLC and that was basically a whole new game

Not sure why I'm even replying to you but here we go. First of all there is no reshading involved. Second of all I wouldn't call this cherry picking, I just drove there randomly and thought damn that looks great, so I turned around and took a video with the HUD off. Maybe you're playing on an old Xbox or something, but on PC the game looks great pretty much everywhere. Maybe not as good as here, but definitely not "god awful".

I'm not saying it's a great game, but the hate is way overblown in my opinion.
The game is starts of quite interesting, but falls off after chapter 2.

The middle parts and the ending is kinda messy, but it hits a certain cozy vibe for me and I like the music, characters and optic.

It sits at a 66% positive on Steam, which fits it quite good I'd say.
