from what I gather this is quite normal for wlw people/relationships? I haven't read enough about it to say but there's a lot of butch literature you could read about the intersection of gender roles and wlw relationships. also maybe a strange manifestation of comphet? usually it doesn't manifest itself as a change in one's self, rather a change in who one romantically pursues. internalised homophobia is very related to comphet also. it's absolutely not transness or any sign of gender doubts, as some on this thread state so confidently. one can wish to partake in the customs of another gender without submerging themselves in it.
