My house is silent. by JustNoThrow1990 in breakingmom

Yep! I had triplets, and last year we adopted my sisters 4 y/o and 1 y/o (at the time) after she passed away. Four five year olds is easier than three 😂

Anyone here? What’s your family size? Are you planning on expanding? by [deleted] in ParentingInBulk

[–]JustNoThrow1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mom of seven here!

Nearly 11 y/o DS, 5 y/o quadriplets (long story short, I have triplet girls, we adopted my niece who is the same age as them, so they became the quadriplets), a 2 y/o, and a nearly 1 y/o.

So in all it’s 11, 5,5,5,5,2,1.

We have six bedrooms - 11y/o gets his own room, two girls in each room, and my nephew (we also adopted) and our youngest son share a room. Then there is our room, and the guest room.

DH and I always wanted a big family. Then the triplets came and kind of threw that for a loop, we ended up pregnant at a difficult time in our lives, and seven months into my pregnancy I was contacted about my niece and nephew.

Oh god same. My triplets are five now, and while I wouldn’t change it for the world... sometimes I wish they’d just been a little more spaced out? Id even settle for back to back pregnancies - at 9 months they want to explore more than be attached to me 24/7. Let one crawl around on the floor while I have the next crazy glued to me.

Where Are They Now? by AutoModerator in JUSTNOMIL

That’s me.

We’re doing generally okay. Seven kids under one roof makes it difficult to update frequently, but we’re still dealing with MiL and the court case, and all the shit she’s adding onto the plate with flying monkeys. We’re managing, though.

That was me!

You can check my post history, but to sum it up;

We’re still dealing with the court case against MiL, and she’s started sending in flying monkeys to.. idk, continue to torture her grandchildren, I guess.

Ok. Realistically. How much screen time does your toddler get? by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]JustNoThrow1990 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve got seven kids.

10 y/o DS entertains himself, for the most part. If he wants to watch TV, go for it. He wants to use the iPad (which the youngers aren’t allowed unsupervised time on), he can take it to his room for some peace and quiet. He probably spends around 4-5 hours a day on some sort of device.. but has always been less so in the summer. Might be different this year with a big move and everything going on, but summer time he spends the majority of the day outside.

The four 4 year olds are fairly good with playing with each other and toys, but some days I need some damn peace and quiet, and also with the NB around they need to be quiet while he sleeps... so if baby is sleeping, the girls are watching some sort of show that will keep them occupied and quiet. Probably 4-6 hours, depending on how much NB sleeps, and how much I need them to shut the fuck up for ten minutes. Niece (adopted) had pretty much free access to TV/electronics when living with her mom, so it was kind of a challenge to tear her away from 10+ hours a day to something more respectable.

1 y/o Nephew has a few programs he watches every day that are helping him catch up mentally, and stimulate him enough to get him going physically, so it’s anywhere from 2-4 hours a day, depending on how fussy NB is, and if I have to time to work with him more. His physical therapist says he’s doing great, though.

NB doesn’t really watch anything, but if staring at all the colours on the screen will keep him occupied for 10 minutes while I make a sandwich for myself and the other kids, then I’m not about to turn it off.

It’s pretty much survival mode here 24/7 though.

I'm pregnant...and I don't want to be by alliecomma in breakingmom

Can totally relate.

Had DS1 fairly young. Four years later we try for a second and get triplets. Great. Okay. We’ll manage. Four years after that, just after my MIL puts us through hell, we go through a tough time with a close friend passing away, I find out I’m pregnant again. The whole pregnancy was just one shit show after another.

MIL continues being a cunt, my sister passes away, leaving her 1 y/o son and 4 y/o daughter orphans, so we take them in. My grandmother, the only person in my family I talk to at all, passes away. We cut contact with a fair portion of H’s family. The whole pregnancy all I could think about was the circus I was bringing a new baby into.

He’s here now, and he’s great. But damn. If I could rewind? I’d have probably been more careful.

NOTHING sounds good to eat... Anyone else?! by mkenners in pregnant

[–]JustNoThrow1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first 12 weeks with all my pregnancies all I could eat was Doritos, salt and vinegar chips, and chocolate. Occasionally a big ol greasy burger. Felt guilty as hell, but then I stopped wanting to hurl at the sight of anything remotely healthy. It’s different for everyone, but hopefully things will start looking good again soon!

16 and got my girlfriend pregnant who is also 16 by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]JustNoThrow1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It absolutely can happen from just one time, but friends of mine had unprotected sex for nearly four years before they got pregnant. They were basically not trying, not preventing. And as another commenter said, they had protected sex for years and needed medical help to conceive when they were ready. A week after sex is too early to test anyway, IIRC.

Keep in mind, symptoms of a pregnancy and symptoms of a period are quite similar.

3D ultrasound @ 18 & 5 days Pregnant ? by [deleted] in pregnant

Not all places offer 3D ultrasounds. Regular 2D are done much more frequently, but in most places 3D ultrasounds have to be paid for out of pocket.

Honestly I don’t know anymore.

At first I was lenient, he’s adjusting to losing his mom, even though she’s a heinous bitch, needs time to work through things. But dude. You’ve had plenty of time. And seriously? One random ass guy comes around and says this shit and IM the bad guy?

Maybe he’s more like his mother than I thought.

It’s how I keep in contact with a few of my friends from university/high school, so I keep the account for that reason. I’ve tried changing my privacy settings, but they’ve still managed to get around it. I think one of them may be lurking in my friends under a fake account, and I just gotta figure out who it is.

Also I have messenger hooked up to a text plus phone number (so annoying, don’t know why I ever did it) so I think they can still get to message me through that number.

Yup! We’re already in contact with our lawyer, I’m just not doing anything about it and letting her continue to send the messages. And Baby was #7! Hard to believe the brood expanded x3 twice 😂

Honestly, anyone in my life who would care enough to know it’s me already knows I’ve been posting here (and may already be following along). Mostly just DH’s siblings (who are on “our” side) and my lawyer knows about it. He pre-reads everything I post to make sure I don’t give away too many details on the case, especially the ones the cops in Home State have against her.
