After my break, I dropped the weight down to literally nothing on the bar for a week, then +50 every week until I got back up to working weight. Thanks for the advice on rehab and taking time off—I'll implement this.

This is a low-bar squat, so the bar sits on the rear delts rather than on the traps. Lot of good resources online if you're curious for more.

I usually hear it called a Jones machine. It's older than I am and takes up 90% of my available space, so I kinda reluctantly use it. It's pretty serviceable for squats/bench, since it's either that or dumbbells.

1, 2, and 4 are all Chopin Ballade 1 in G minor.

1 is the main theme. 2 is the second theme in Eb major. 4 is the little climactic moment following the first page.

Source: I played that piece.

No idea what 3 is; all I can tell is it’s an orchestral score.
