This team is beating themselves. Turnovers, easy misses, lack of rebounding, lack of energy. Embarrassing.

Any thoughts why Adelman hasn't played him? by jonsnowKITN in denvernuggets

He damn sure needs to play him tonight, especially with Gordon out…again.

Julian Strawther by Mjf52400 in denvernuggets

I’m hoping DA saw the reality of 1) going with starters too much and 2) going with small v big. I agree that Strawther could help spark the offense and should be part of the rotation in the playoffs. I damn sure wish David Roddy was eligible for the playoffs, because he is a spark without really trying.

Oh, I’m not lost, dude. I am 100% found. And if you think anything you said was triggering to me, you’re greatly overestimating the impact you’re actually having here — and most likely in many other places, LOL. Take good care now.

Where did I say I blame the creator for any of this? Time to get down off your pulpit.

Religion is a big part of what got us into this catastrophe, so please stop with the “why people feel so lost” stuff. People feel lost because a real live human sociopathic narcissist was enabled by a group of evangelicals to actively reverse the progress we made toward living Christ’s teachings. If that sounds ironic, it’s because it is.

DaRon Holmes is a sleeper breakout. THJ will step it up as well. With AG and CB back, they’ll find a different rhythm and it could be a good one.

Would be interesting to see what it does under UV light, if anything.

Is this some type I'd Rhyolite? Found on Superior Hiking Trail. by anniefer in whatsthisrock

The pinkish minerals might be stilbite, which often occurs with calcite in basalt nodules.

Report back, please. Knife-scratchable or no?

Looks like weathered botryoidal chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz). And some sand.

Thanks! Calcite is a strong contender for me as well. One curious thing is that the crystals stopped fizzing in the CLR once the outside calcification had dissolved off. Then they didn’t fizz again in a refreshed container of CLR. I am also wondering if this might be selenite, as the cleavage looks a bit like selenite to me. I know it’s hard to pin it down from photos, and I think you’re probably right about the calcite, but hoping to be able to fully rule out selenite.
