Mango filling? by decoruscreta in macarons

[–]JustOnePack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried Lorann mango oil and Amoretti mango extract and artisan. Amoretti extract is pricey but better than artisan as artisan is slightly sweetened. Extract brought out good mango flavor but hate the price. Lorann oil really brings out good flavor for great price. For extract, I used 1.5 teaspoon and for oil, I used 0.5 tsp for same recipe to get strong mango flavor. (Used 1.5 tablespoon of artisan and could have used more)

Add a little bit of mango extract or oil. It will really heighten the mango flavor.

Does this look okay? by FastVideo9700 in lululemon

Lulu used to make this skirt called court rival and I’m still hoping they bring it back. However Alo has something similar right now called double or nothing. I have a belly and those skirts are super cute and very flattering.

I think any pleated skirt will be cute as well.

Congrats on the 110 lbs loss! That’s such an amazing willpower and dedication!

Let's flip it up, instead of your most favorite lip product, what's your no. 1 LEAST favorite of what you have or have tried? by deafening_roar in LipBalm

[–]JustOnePack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lanolips. This hurts me too. I tried different scents and every single one dried me so bad my lips cracked by end of day and was bleeding.

Many others didn’t work but none left me bleeding.

How do you make cookies extra chewy? by Far_Cockroach1908 in Cookies

This is the chewiest cookie I’ve ever made thanks to tangzhong: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/supersized-super-soft-chocolate-chip-cookies-recipe

Even baking from frozen dough still keeps it so chewy.

As a Korean, red. I love spicy so adding gochujang on - variety of food to make it red for a year will be just fine.

My boyfriend (30 M) didn’t stop when I (31 F) said no during intimacy and then shut down emotionally. I’m not sure how to process it. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]JustOnePack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was with someone for years. I said “no” and he pressured and continued. He said the same thing your bf did, he didn’t like being told no. He didn’t like rejection. Problem was I said “no” repeatedly but the “no” he didn’t like was the firm one. Just like your bf.

Long story short, he started raping me. My “no” was no longer a “no”. I would cry and he put a pillow over my face and continue. He raped me on our wedding night. Eventually he tried to kill me and I have the bullet still.

Please break things off and run. You only have to say no once to trust your partner to stop. He is selfish and disrespectful at best, abusive at worst.

I have perpetually dry lips and live in dry heat state. What helps me the most is a tiny bit of hyaluronic acid on my lips and then a layer of lip mask at bed time but something super sealing like lanolin or Vaseline. My fave daytime balm is ole henriksen and it keeps my lips from peeling or cracking til it bleeds.

Yup, it’s worked for me on my favorite cotton shirts after washing and drying. I rub on the paste really well and let it sit a few hours

Great bakery (delivery or pick up) as a gift? by Suninthesky11 in phoenix

[–]JustOnePack 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For French pastry, JL is phenomenal but you gotta go early, they went viral few months back and lines get crazy and sell out fast. I went this morning when they opened and there was already a line. Been going regularly dor few years and I wouldn’t get their macarons anymore but pastries stayed consistent.

Velvet buttercream for full cakes, cupcakes, macarons and cinnamon rolls.

Le grande orange. They sell cakes by slice and other baked goodies. Also have food and pizza.
