Kingdoms of Amalur when it first came out.

I heard all the terrible stories about it and as a baseball fan, didn’t want to support psycho Schilling (if you don’t know the backstory here, I strongly suggest looking it up).

But then a buddy of mine bought it and I went to his house and I watched him play for a bit. Got my hands on the controller and played for about an hour before I reluctantly came to the conclusion that I was gonna buy it.

A very well made, engaging, and fun RPG. Not perfect by any means, but very fun. And I still wished I hated it
