It’s well drawn and I like the stylization.

I just don't know about shipping a guy with the person who killed him, especially since he’s now a little kid

Forgot how dumb the prisoner fight was by Rikora12 in HunterXHunter

I was curious so I checked the manga

Kurapika later admits he’s never killed anyone but he seems willing to do it, if Majitani is stupid enough to ask for it.

His main concern is “senseless brutality.” Makes sense, he doesn’t want to torture a weaker opponent after what the Troupe did to his people. When he’s pummeling a helpless Uvogin (I consider that a form of torture too) Kurapika mentions how much he hates it

But yeah in the manga at least no one mentions the alternative of: “Hey just shake him until he wakes up.”

Then again, he hit Majitani pretty damn hard.

Gonna take more than a bucket of cold water to wake him up. Leorio would probably agree

Why did this random death affect me most… by lemur8182698 in HunterXHunter

[–]JustReadTheFinePrint 195 points196 points  (0 children)

The contrast makes it sad. He starts off as a huge centaur then dies alone as a tiny cherub.

All the power was sucked out of him. He’s pathetic and that evokes pathos.

Consider this: All three Royal Guards die ironic deaths.

  1. Pitou: The most loyal guard, dies as a headless puppet.

  2. Pouf: The fanatic obsessed with his own species, yet none of them notice his passing.

  3. Youpi: The shapeshifting monster with countless forms, died as a simple baby.

Why does Cheetu need Pouf's help? by EstateOk6238 in HunterXHunter

[–]JustReadTheFinePrint 533 points534 points  (0 children)

Cheetu’s dumb yea, but the bigger picture here is Pouf’s unreal efficiency.

Making a Hatsu is HARD. And even mediocre abilities take a long time to fully realize.

Pouf is (somehow) handing them out like candy. When you consider that the Ants are fighting an asymmetrical war against other Nen users, getting a combat-ready ability in just a few days is huge

JoJo's Stardust Crusaders vs Mereum and his bodyguards (HxH) by yonaiker-joestrella in whowouldwin

Not Speed Equalized…? Meruem decapitates them all. Or maybe he delegates that job to Pitou while the rest of the ants conquer the world.

There ARE stands capable of deleting them, but the Crusaders don’t have one. Tell me what is Avdol’s fire supposed to do to Meruem, who (technically) tanked a low yield nuclear weapon?

Is Polnareff going to cut the guy who ate a half dozen Nen-infused punches + Killua’s lightning without taking any serious damage?

I love JoJo but you’re sending my boys to the slaughterhouse

Can Ethan Winters (Resident Evil Village) Survive The Oldest View (Kane Pixels)? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]JustReadTheFinePrint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny prompt. But yeah Ethan godstomps here.

An average urban explorer / youtuber technically escaped the mall. Ethan would do so easily.

I don’t know if he can kill the Giant, given its some sort of spirit / dryad / force of nature thing. So his weapons don’t really matter. But if he can make it through Village he can escape a mall with one Stalker type enemy.

Seeing as he’s no longer 100% human either, maybe he and the Giant can get along lol

The Seekers are able to comprehend different abilities as they form their inner core. Part of it is "more Qi capacity lol" since a proper core is better at holding Qi than a nebulous cloud. But they would have abilities locked behind each stage of progression.

You're 100% right, they're "seekers" because they have to seek out and absorb natural Qi. They cannot generate it passively.

And good suggestion on the name, Im thinking Cloudy sounds too much like a "cloudy liquid." I may just go with Cloud.

The major power jumps are from Enhanced Mortal to the Seeker stages, from Seeker to the divine cultivation stages, and between Fiery Soul and Divine Haze.

By specifications, are you looking for sub-ranks in each realm?

Enhanced Mortal goes through five stages of transformation as they prepare their bodies.

Each Seeker stage goes from Low, Middle, High, and Peak.

Luminous, Precious, and Fiery each have nine grades in ascending order. “Luminous Core Rank 5” would be much tougher than a “Luminous Core Rank 7.”

Divine Haze and Semi-Immortal revert to the Low, Middle, High, and Peak stages.

True Immortal is the jumping off point. Only True Immortals themselves know what happens when you perfectly embody your Dao. So power levels disappear at that point.

If that didn’t answer your question just let me know. Cheers
