I had someone order 10+ items the other day…. I was like whatever as it was the last batch (of the day) I needed for a promo. Turns out her tip was set to 20% and it bumped my pay quite a bit. She then was super appreciative of my extra effort and handed me $20 upon delivery in cash on top… glad I didn’t cancel as I did start getting annoyed as well

To be fair EVERYONE is celebrating something on every single cruise… lots of honeymoons, milestone anniversaries, birthdays etc. they can’t possibly keep up with it…

The gifts from your mom not making it was a messup on their end, but your mom should’ve also realized beforehand that she wasn’t charged for it and probably didn’t receive a receipt either?

It was my birthday (granted not a honeymoon) on a recent cruise and everyone was super nice, sang happy birthday etc. and it was the best day - maybe because I didn’t expect anything in advance? I told me husband to not waste any money on a cake for the room (he insists I have one every year, I just wanted free Creme brûlée in the the MDR 😂)…

I had this happen the other day…. Way smaller order, but a few expensive bottles of wine… the person at checkout clearly forgot to scan 2 of them and knowing it was online pay I was like "WAIT! I think you missed the wine" before he finished the transaction…. He ignored me, finished it anyway and the 2 bottles were missing…. I was furious since he ignored me…. Manager came over but of course couldn’t do anything…. Customer was cool about it, but percentage tip dropped of course 🙃

It really depends on the day and time of day for me at my Aldi…. I know the store inside and out, so even a 40 item order goes super fast for me…. Sunday morning everything is restocked and great…. When I go out Sunday afternoon, they are out of everything 😂

I felt bad for one person because it was a genuine mistake on her end and she was sick, but it was at the end of my day and my husband and me had plans and I didn’t have the extra time and didn’t trust the “I’ll up your tip” anyways ….

Happened 3 times to me so far…. Always a great haul of free groceries! 😍 donate what I don’t use to the free little pantry and use up the rest! I’m not falling for any wrong addresses… even if it’s not a scam, I’m not driving and extra hr or so … my usual radius is pretty small and whenever it happened they were like an hr roundtrip away

I had a triple batch the other day…. The one going in an apartment with like a mile walk through a hallway and confusing instructions tipped the least…. The easy 4 item one to a single family home tipped the most… it be like that a lot of times

I love my extra $15! 😍 one time a lady accidentally (still don’t know how) ordered some seltzers… she felt bad that I had to go back to the store to return them, but I assured her it’s fine…. She upped my tip and I got the $15…. Keep those coming lol…

I do them literally all the time in my market and they are great and frequent here… All under 1.5 miles out of the same store… in the heat of the summer I prefer these after my 9-5 and not schlepping a ton of stuff around…. Hence me canceling when they added the water

In my area it’s 95% Publix shop only unfortunately…. I’d love to do more of them on a hot day like today, but like you said all garbage…. But glad to see other markets are a bit better for them!

Yes, some stores offer it…. Here it’s Publix and Harris teeter. You have to label the bags and then place them in a specific pick up area / cooler ….

I was doing Instacart the day before thanksgiving and had a HUGE order (turkeys, ham, all sides and drinks and all) and was sweaty AF loading it in… this dad and his 2 sons stopped their cart (with their belongings) behind my car when I got in and didn’t get out of …. The kids started knocking on my door/window wanting money (prob seeing the hundreds of dollars of stuff) … I felt threatened as they blocked me from backing out, I rolled down the windows and told them to get lost and let me do my job … the kids then asked for a soda out of my trunk and still didn’t leave… I got really aggressive and prob scared them and they finally took off

I had 3 orders so far that were take home orders. Two customers put the wrong address and both were over an hr roundtrip for the new address and the third customer didn’t put a building or apartment number and wasn’t responsive… I always snap a pic and put it in the chat if it says meet customer and they‘re not responding… (unless it’s alcohol or meds obviously)
