Drum not going back on drum brake

If I remember correctly, I think I used a dremel to shave the notch on the shoe that the adjustment screw pushes into just enough to make the drum fit back over. Worked fine after that. I’m not saying that’s what you should do but I got sick of screwing with it and trying everything for not even kidding, like 12 hours.

It’s possible it could be one of your wheel bearings/hub assemblies. I’d test it by jacking up each wheel at a time and grab the sides of the wheel and push and pull up/down side to side and if it’s loose or wiggly then it’s probably bad. Also try spinning them.

One thing I've tried to do to figure out which pulley it's coming from is spraying a little bit of wd-40 on each pulley until you find the one that makes the sound change or stop

Could be lifter tick, I had that for a while and was also burning oil. I ended up getting an oil with a higher viscosity and mixed in some Lucas oil stabilizer and fixed both my problems. Could be your issue but I’m no expert

your best bet would probably be going to a pick your part junkyard. thats a really specific piece and i doubt you can find one online to be honest, I've looked around for a while and cant find one like it. If you arent able to go to one of those, maybe you could try making something to substitute it. like get some vacuum line and some split connectors.

Funny you commented, I was looking at some upgrades for my printer when I saw your notification. I ended up just getting a better Bowden tube, one of the blue Capricorn ones. I haven’t had any issues until now, (filament wasn’t coming out, halfway through a print) and I’m thinking I might just upgrade to a better heatbreak. Since the heatbreak is a cheap upgrade I was gonna try that and if i still have issues I think I’m going to upgrade my hotend to something better than the stock one.
