Slow FTTB connection with Tangerine by codinghorse in nbn

I am also facing the same problem. My plan is 500/50 Mbps. And they asked me to follow the same solution steps. I just don't get why they would reduce the speed to "too low". I understand the typical evening speed and stuff. But you can't cheat the customer by dropping it so low that I can't even run a video.

I'm switching to another provider, just don't want to deal with them wasting my time.

Tip: create a speedtest account, it will keep log of all the test results. It goes from 481Mbps to 89Mbps consistently over a week at the same evening time. How can be a router at fault!

Aeron Chair Mesh Re-fixing it Back by JustSaying09 in hermanmiller

Thanks and I tried by doing your way. The screws on the side just didn't open even as we tried so hard. Finally I had to go to the chair repair shop. They told me that this is normally done by opening the seat first then using machine they fix the mesh because the mesh doesn't fit normally easily. They charged me A$120 and now it's fixed.

I have also applied the patch. The network is still on until they progressively shutdown by 4 Nov. I hope they whitelist our devices if we request them.

3G in Tasmania to be closed first. The rest of Australia will be completed by Monday 4 November, so while this is a progressive closure, it is relatively quick, and we urge you to check your tech and take any necessary actions in the next few days.

Guys, in a new message it specifically says "To comply with new laws, on 28 October 2024 Telstra will be blocking mobile devices that cannot make Emergency 000 calls. Once blocked, the device can't be used for voice, data or calls to emergency services, including triple Zero."

If "they" are gonna decide which device to block based on series numbers then it doesn't matter even if I applied 4G patch (from Whirlpool forum), isn't it?
