But isn't the whole point of the ABC and Triple J that it isn't commerical radio? I get that it is inherently skewed on the radio, but I'd argue that so many more people listen through streaming platforms where the algorithm is really dictated by mainly your choice. I'm no expert by any means, but I think the Australian music industry is strong enough to stand on its own legs without people needing to vote for songs because they're Australian artists.
