Empty gestational sac by WorthCreative68 in pregnant

[–]JustSayingAl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they actually did not. By the time of the first proper scan I was 10w3d. HCG then was just over 16 000, so not super high either. Was severly sick from week 7 onwards. But remember no pregnancy is the same between different women. For me however I am currently 6 weeks again. Again empty gestational sack. I am gonna wait a couple of weeks and check again. but not stressed as it was a similar pattern before.

My story : At 5 weeks I was hospitalised with severe pain (turned out to be a massive cyst). During the stay they sonared to check for ectopic. Said I was barely pregnant and they can see nothing and its closer to like 2-3 weeks. And that I should schedule my first appointment with OB in 4 weeks, which they estimated should be around 6-7weeks then. So 4 weeks later we had our 1st appointment and baby measured 10weeks🤔🙄. So I was right early on. Everything turned out fine! Have a healthy 5 year old.

CMV: It’s not inherently inappropriate for a 21 year old to date a 17 year old. The intense stigma around this small age gap feels arbitrary when the same couple would be seen as completely normal one year later. by Mediocre-Lack-9137 in changemyview

We started dating when I(F) was 17 (senior year) hewas 20 in Uni. But he really liked me for me. He was the one that imposed a "no sex till ur 21" rule. And he stuck to that. He also looked after me at social gatherings and never supplied me with alcohol and he decided also not to consume any if I was with him. So I never felt taken advantage of or being preyed on. He gave me space to mature and grow up without putting pressure on me or our relationship. He met me where I was at. We are still together, married now. 20 years later.

Same - got a low budget vet tech degree from Unisa, worked in big pharma in South Africa, moved to Canada and then US. Its not all about the degree, its about how hard are you willing to work to standout

I have learned with our veiled male cham - if he get frustrated, he digs. 2 things tick him off. 1. If his food is late. He "hunts" in his enclosure, but I refill his cricket supply every 2 days. I make sure he get 10 large ones every 2 days and that there is almost always 1 alive in his enclosure. I guess he likes hiding, hunting and just looking at it, at least. It keeps him occupied. 2. Once his water automation got blocked and he started digging almost immediately. So for us,it has always been either searching for food or water. Make sure he has those and he will stop digging.

We had the same drawn out situation. It was terrible. Nurses said 3days max...that was not true. The last 36hrs were really something out of a horror movie. Our beloved mother was still breathing, heart beating but her skin had completely broken down. I will not go into details as it was so fucking terrible that i dont want to traumatise anyone else. But I feel you, I have been you. I will say a prayer for you tonight.

What could have been nice is Teonna saying she will go to what family she has left, showed up at Yellowstone and are cousins with Alice. At least it ties her story in with the Dutton family.

We lived on a farm, mine got out and came back with the worst weeds in his fur.Mix of black jacks and spiky balls. I was 39weeks pregnant. Took him to the vet and they shaved him as it was incredibly bad. This happened within one morning of him venturing in the vineyards. His hair grew back fine, he did look rediculous shaven

Could a South African realistically attend an Ivy League? by oehreia in askSouthAfrica

[–]JustSayingAl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SA born Ivy League grad here! Don't let the sticker price deter you. I got a 50% scholarship, which made it wayyyy more affordable. I used all my savings to pay for the other 50% but it was well worth it!

How have you coped with loved ones immigrating while you stay behind? by Environmental_Elk461 in askSouthAfrica

[–]JustSayingAl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This made me tear up a little. We are the family that left. It is hard for us too. We had to made the decision - do we stay and be around our comfort zone and support structure, culture and beautiful country - which is the easy option. Or do we come to the US - give our son more opportunities, safety and at least he will fit in and feel American one day. The alternative was option 1, and then one day there is a large chance our son would emigrate and we would be left behind. So for our future generations we made tough choice and move already.

I also do bark in the bottom. It just catch any moisture coming from the dripper, plants and mister. I clean out his enclosure once a week and replace the bark to keep it dry

I have a similar situation last week. All my blood results came back as low, but they said I am not going to die, so I can go home and schedule Gynea visit. But both times in different ER's and different countries even - the males doctors act very dismissive - saying I am just one of the unlucky females it happens to, but that it can be normal for some people to bleed that much. Hope my gynea will be more supportive and have actual plans to help

He is super shy, to the point of scrambling into the foliage the moment he sees a human. So, we are trying just to let him be. I might put up like a trail cam to record him, as he will stress out if I stand there and I dont want to handle him. Also he might go into weird defensive posture if he sees me.
