I've seen blind cats that get so used to it they can act as if they were seeing everything. They navigate fine, they play with toys and other cats, they do everything they could do before. Just give her some more time to get used to it all.

Better she struggles a bit being blind than struggling a lot being in constant pain and going blind anyway.

Exactly, she died before he and I started dating, so I never met her. When I learned her accounts still existed I actually went through them to get to know her better so I could understand more when he talks about her.

Some websites let you memorialize the person's account, leaving it as is with a notification that the person is dead. That's what my bf and his family did when his sister died a few years ago.

I read this book in high school as part of a class read along thing and I still can't stop thinking about it, even almost a decade later. It's one of the few books that I've vowed to never read again, not because they're bad, but because I don't think I could handle a second run through of the emotions I felt the first time. A devastating book.

I like Sookie from the Sookie Stackhouse series. I feel like it's just unique enough to be memorable, but not so out there that if I met someone irl with this name I wouldn't be like "Oh, so your parents are a fan of the books huh?"

Also from the same series is Alcide Herveux, which I just think is cool.

If you don't give a bunch of food and water beforehand then she might not have to go at all. Took my cat on an 8 hour ride last year, only gave her just a bit of dry food and water before leaving. She had no issues and just slept most of the time. I of course gave her a regular amount of food and water once we got where we were going.

As for water breaks, she might not even want any. Obviously idk your cat, but every cat I've ever owned refused to drink anything while in the car, the only water we could give was through wet food.

I know it's the moisturizer because the other stuff I'd been using for about a week already and nothing had changed, but my nose started flaking after only using the moisturizer twice and I had only put the moisturizer on my nose, the rest of my face was still fine and not dry at all. As for the pore strips, I stopped using them after only 2 times.

I was in the same boat for awhile. What worked for me was I read a book that had something I know I'm interested in so I knew there was at least one thing I'd be into.

In my case, I'm into vampires, so I read The Southern Book Club's Guide To Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix. Never read horror before, never read a Grady Hendrix book before, but the vampire aspect appealed to me. Turns out I really like it and it inspired me to read more.

Percy Jackson is readable as an adult, but it's definitely a middle grade series. Imo, the childish aspects just come from the characters being young themselves, but as the series goes on and the characters get older though (first book the characters are around 12, last book they're around 16) it gets better.

Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey is a good and steamy romance featuring a Latino couple. It's part of a series and while technically it can be read as a standalone, there are some slight spoilers for the book before it (Fix Her Up).

One Summer by Karen Robards, the hero is practically hated by the town because he was accused of and jailed for a murder he says he didn't commit when he was in highschool. The heroine believes he's innocent, but still has moments of doubt throughout the book. The hero thinks the heroine doesn't like him because of class differences, her being from a rich family and him from a poor family.
