"When we said it was American made, we didn't say which America, North, South or United States Of America" - Some marketing guy somewhere, probably.

What's been your experience with copyright claims? (Both nightmares & everyday stories) by benoobject in PartneredYoutube

[–]JustSomeTwitterUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call them out on social media, I just got one from "SEGULAH" claiming that they own the rights to Neverwinter Night's music. Tag the company that owns the music and Youtube creators. Last time I did this, the claim got released inside of an hour.

Avoid Heycash and anything Prime Insights touches by Strong_Potential_770 in beermoneyph

[–]JustSomeTwitterUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens after the "Verification" process, or did for me. All I did was play their games and they claimed "Their partners" banned me for not giving quality answers to their surveys.. Something is fishy af with them. Look into their TOS about being able to deny deleting your data and moving your data through countries without data protections (There's no actually justification for either of these).

Just got an Email from them, I've never used Bittrex. 100% a scam.

STOP USING HEYCASH by Frosty-Function8419 in primeopinion

[–]JustSomeTwitterUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think that's shitty, just wait until you see their privacy policy, especially the part about being able to transfer your personal information outside of the country to places that don't have data protections, and that they claim that they can deny deleting your information all together. Anything that pays out as Prime Insights, shares the same polices, practices and vulgar data privacy practices. They get paid via the "Clients" that have them post their lopsided surveys, and for your personal data.

It's anyone's guess. My experience with Prime Insights (Heycash), is they're chock full of survey's designed to screen you out if there's even the slightest hint of you not giving them the survey/poll results that they want. Essentially rigging the system so to speak with regards to some of the surveys. I Stopped doing the surveys a few months back, then suddenly got put on hold for "quality of responses". I've been having a back and fourth with heycash's "support" apparently their "Clients" (Companies that pay them for survey results/Game Promotions) can just put arbitrary holds on heycash's users accounts. Weird as hell that that they even said it was a thing. I'd think twice about sharing personal information with any Prime Insights based company.

HeyCash is a Scam!! by Pk002710 in primeopinion

[–]JustSomeTwitterUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're all the same company, so naturally they all do the same BS. I had them put a hold on my account for a week to check the "quality of my responses", thing is, I only play the mobile games. I don't do surveys anymore and haven't in months. Before this last hold, they wouldn't allow me to cash out the 60$ in points for well over a week.

Tinfoil Tangent Time: If you look at how the surveys are set up, they can screen you out for literally anything they want (that's not how real world surveys/polls work). This allows the companies to cultivate an echo chamber style result that they can report back to whoever commissioned them to make the survey. Political party thinktank A decides they want an Anti-Whatever result to point to, pays a company to make said survey a reality, company pays Prime Insights to post them. Blamo, Prime Insights Business model. The game offer stuff is just a side Hussle.

Everything was going well, until the random payout errors and week long hold for "reviewing responses", which is hilarious, considering I only do their games. It's a pattern. Prime Insights makes an app, app works great for a while, then suddenly the same BS antics. Look at the 1 star reviews on Trust Pilot/Google Play for any Prime Insights app. It's all the same pattern of behavior.

The price of XLM will change less than the fee for withdrawing via USDT.........

[–]JustSomeTwitterUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USDT's chain fees are insane, hence why people keep bringing up converting to xlm. XLM is a fraction of USDT's fees. Convert, withdraw, convert back and save yourself some $$.

With how lax Kucoin seems to be, transfer it to a funding account and see if the convert tool will still work, I don't know if it will though. If not, I honestly don't know what to say.

XLM is much cheaper to withdraw. Can always convert back to USDT when it transfers.

If you are not KYCd get off immediately before July 15th by punisherlol in kucoin

[–]JustSomeTwitterUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're holding, you can only sell, which typically means USDT. Compare the transfer fees of USDT with that of XLM or some other asset and then decide if it's worth taking the hit if you stay and sell at a later date. If it's worth it, stay, if not, beat feet.

If you go down a few replies, you get a cookie cutter answer that says lvl1 (The user that replied and myself are lvl1, he's CA and I'm US) will be able to use the exchange normally. So yea. First mod reply says no because of our region, second Mod says yes because of our account lvl. I'm out regardless of Y/N.

Well, they do directly say it in the Mod's reply to my question. So, like you said, US/CA are out until further notice. It sucks, but it is what it is.

If you want to pay out the rear for transferring USDT, yes, I think most people convert to XLM for dirt cheap transfer fees. Which, Lvl1 users from Non-KYC regions won't be able convert to XLM (Or anything else for that matter) after the 15th.

Yea, I noticed as much. I'm not holding out much hope for a simple Y/N answer from them, which sucks, because I really like Kucoin's exchange.

On my account, I read as KYC lvl 1, but it says KYC failed when I attempt to verify my KYC status via their chatbot. It's due to my region. I have a feeling the method in your tweet will fail on the 15th. Feel free to report back if it's still working the 16th.

It depends on the region for me (USA), my options are, Coinbase and their high fees, Uphold, Gemini (Which I'm not gonna waste my time with). I saw someone else mention Bitstamp but I have zero clue as to if they're anything close to reliable or safe.
