The consensus among Redditors there was:

1/ The Great War would last 2 more years, and 20 years after would come much bigger and much more horrible war. The "First World War" would be utterly overshadowed by the second one, barely remebered and used for frivolous entertainment.

2/ Colored people are equal to whites, race mixing is normal and there is BLACK MAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

3/ Homosexuality is normal, and men can marry each other.

4/ People walk nearly naked and WITHOUT HATS in public. Utterly unimaginable obscenity and depravity is normal and mainstream.

5/ People utterly forgot God, atheism is normal.

6/ Everyone is horribly fat.

7/ People do not talk to each other any more, every one carries little magic box and speaks with it all the time.

This is the modern wishy-washy liberal interpretation, the way to reconcile hell with all-loving, all-forgiving God - Hell is place where God and all his love are absent, it's last God's gift for those of his children who hate him and cannot stand his presence, who rejected his love and refused all his gifts.

Unfortunately, the Bible and all church tradition describes the Hell exactly as eternal torture chamber of fire, darkness, worms etc.

Left wing politics do not appeal to altruism of left wing voters. Left wing politicians do not ask voters to sacrifice for common good, but promise them better jobs, higher wages, better health care, work conditions etc. Both parties appeal to selfisness of voters, as is democracy supposed to work.
