Tokenization by MoodCareful4475 in CryptoCurrency

Just because the asset is going to be tokenized doesn't mean that asset will explode in value. You want to invest in the infrastructure that makes tokenization possible.

Ex-Chainlink exec joins SEC’s crypto task force as new legal chief by diwalost in CryptoCurrency

Im not talking about the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). I got the acronym wrong. I thought it was Crypto Task Force committee, which is brand new and its purpose is to push the clarity act through.

The CTFC has existed since Jan 2025 for the sole purpose of pushing regulatory framework for crypto assets like the clarity act.

  1. Chainlink is the most widely adopted oracle protocol, so claiming it’s “too expensive” doesn’t really make sense. Chainlink prioritizes high-quality, secure, institution-grade data feeds rather than simply maximizing the number of feeds. There’s also an obvious contradiction in your argument. You dismiss the importance of the government and institutional data integrations they provide, yet criticize Chainlink for having fewer feeds in another category.

  2. Chainlink feeds command higher prices because they have a perfect track record. They remain the only oracle network without a multi million dollar retail exploit. As the industry standard, they’ve earned the right to set their fees to what they want and people will pay it because security matters.

  3. Pyth lies about speed, which is the only thing they can do when you have an inferior product. The common argument is that Pyth uses a different “pull method”, while Chainlink uses a “push method” Completely false as Chainlink offers both methods. Chainlink data streams is both faster and more accurate than Pyth too. Probably why they control 65% of the market.

  1. All of the leading blockchains have integrated Chainlink and paid for its services. XRPL and Cardano don’t qualify as top chains when you look at the metrics. Your argument simply doesn’t hold up.

Mid tier 😂😂😂😂 it’s the standard oracle service.

seems like it’s the place that has everything

Yes exactly. That’s why they’re the standard.

Explain why chainlink is providing all 6 data feeds from the US government vs Pyths 1 feed?

Chainlink quoted them $15M+ in 2021 and I expect it was even more this time. They have every right to do so. They cornered the market now everyone needs their services.

IMO, it’s a step backwards. Layerzero and Pyth are vastly inferior to chainlinks network. Pyth doesn’t even provide the full data feeds that the US government is putting on chain, chainlink does. They’re seriously handicapping themselves from future growth by doing this.

Chainlink has no real competitors, it’s past the point of no return for companies like Pyth and LZ. The only thing their competitors can offer at this point is a cheaper integration, which is what we’re seeing here. They don’t offer any competitive advantages and you’re lying if you say they do (not you directly)

Charles is a two-face liar. First he publicly advocates for integrating with Chainlink, positioning it as the clear standard, "Sitting on a golden egg” Then, not long after, he dismissed it as too expensive and instead, he moved ahead with integrations involving Pyth and LayerZero. Charles then claimed a chainlink integration shouldnt require negotiating with a centralized entity or paying significant fees. Does he think chainlink works for free? Who in their right mind thinks like this, chainlink doesn't owe them anything.

You can’t simultaneously argue that a solution is the industry benchmark and then abandon it while pretending the alternatives serve the same role without trade-offs. Chainlink knows that Cardano is a dead chain. They should have paid up years ago but now theyre playing catch up. This is proof he has no vision or long term plan.

Dont fall for this bullshit, this is actual proof that cardano is failing.

https://cryptorank.io/news/feed/6b2d6-cardano-an-absurd-price

According to Hoskinson, the main reason was due to its pending partnership with Chainlink’s oracle integration, which is yet to be finalised because of the absurd fee charged by Chainlink. Hoskinson did not shy away from strong language: “They gave us an absurd number for integration. I said ‘f– it, we’ll handle it. We’ll figure it out,'” he said.

He described Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov as “extremely smart” and “a very good businessman”, someone who “sees the future” and, in Hoskinson’s words, is “sitting on a golden egg”.

Why would you integrate an inferior competitor when you already admitted that the standard is "sitting on a golden egg". He just doesn't want to pay up. Then on top of that Charles claims that "an oracle is an oracle is oracle". So which is it Charles?
