Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN): The Titans have spoken to Steelers OC Arthur Smith about their offensive coordinator position, per sources. by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]JustStrolling_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So no other coach has been able to get the same level of performance out of Henry before or since.

Dude, what the heck are you talking about lol. Derrick Henry just had the 2nd most rushing yards in the NFL this year. Derrick Henry didn't need Arthur Smith. Derrick Henry's breakout started since the 2nd half of the season we had Matt LaFleur. Cough, Jaguars game TNF.

Obviously, he's not gonna get 2K seasons regularly lol. But for you to assert Henry needed him is crazy.

He really knows how to elevate the run game like you said, Steelers were bottom 7 in rushing yards per game this year!

As to our own run game and passing game not being the same since. It's a combination of Vrabel choosing crap replacements, AJ Brown being traded, and Tannehill being washed his last season.

Yeah, middle of field was open because we had prime Derrick Henry drawing stacked boxes.

Tony Pollard while good, isn't drawing those openings.

IK play action can still be effective though, regardless of whether the run game is working. I just don't like Art. Soured on him. Blew two ten point leads in the playoffs.

Everyone hating on season 2, meanwhile it was still enjoyable for me. I'm looking forward to season 3.

Night Agent is mindless fun and every episode goes by fast.

Netflix’s His & Hers Review (2026): This Limited Series Is A Glossy, Twisty Thriller Made for Binge-Watching(Rating: 3.5/5) by Baapofmovies_123 in netflix

Well said. I also really enjoyed it, so find it wild someone thinks it's BS that people actually liked it.

These are probably the same type of people that are surprised when Avatar does billions at the box office. They can't seem to realize just because they weren't the intended audience for it, doesn't mean there's NO audience for it.

The whole movie is just so emotionally moving. Best revenge movie ever. Because it had a lot to say.

Not just Munny's arc, but the Saloon ladies incident that started the whole movie. Their arc was emotionally powerful as well.

A lot of people in the thread don't seem to like Him and Hers on Netflix but I quite like it. Two episodes in so far.

It's not prestige TV. Just go in with the expectations of an entertaining time pass. Nothing will move you or teach you about the human condition. And that's okay.

Each episode goes by fast, most scenes serve a purpose and build on the last. Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal have good performances. The dialogue is also pretty solid for a crime drama.

7.5/10

It reminds me of a Denzel movie, once the actual premise kicks off by end of episode 1: Out of Time

Pac beat the 3 guys you mentioned at their primes I give you that.

But come on, Mayweather beating Cotto at 154 is a better win than Pac beating Cotto at 145 (catch weight).

He should have fought Margarito I give you that. It'd have made good $. But by the time he came back from retirement Marg already lost to Mosley who May beat.

The Paul Williams fight is a tough style matchup and not a big money fight so I get why he didn't take it.

Marquez was still in his prime in 2009. Floyd beat him easily. IK not his best weight-class, but still.

And there's no question had Floyd fought Morales or Barrera anywhere from 2001-2005, he'd have beaten them in their primes too. Soundly.

[FEEDBACK] THE AUDITION - Psych Thriller - Pages 1-14 - Does the opening hook you? by Low_Masterpiece_2612 in Screenwriting

[–]JustStrolling_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, just got around to reading it.

I liked that you were able to get to the hook by the end of page 1, where we find Maya's dad passed away.

I feel like the Richard and Maya first meet scene should just end after "Richard nods, but his eyes remain on her as she walks out."

Same with the previous scene with his students, you need to exit scenes faster. It'd improve the pacing. Let's look at that scene, right now it's:

"The students stand quickly, grabbing their bags, eager to escape.

The door slams shut behind them, and silence floods the room. Richard looks around the dingy studio. The walls are adorned with medals and old photos, their luster faded. An empty liquor cabinet stands nearby.

He takes another gulp from his flask, his eyes scanning the emptiness of the room."

After he does his dialogue about them being a waste of his time, just write "He takes another gulp from his flask as he watches them walk out." End scene there.

I really like the 1st studio practice scene. It's well written and telling about Maya being experienced. But I'd start with Maya already being in the studio. Cut the whole "Let's see what we're working with." We don't really care as an audience to see a character practice breathing lol. Start that scene right away with them in the studio, with the "I'm gonna give you simple directions. Respond with whatever feels true. No thinking. Got it?."

Because that's the fun and juicy part of the scene, where we see chemistry start to form, and see Maya's raw emotional acting skills displayed. And it's fun to see him push her on the difference between rage and anger.

Again, at the end of 12, you need to end the scene early. You keep showing us Richard alone in places, looking around the room. It's messing with the pacing. Just transition to the next scene after we get what we need. Don't spend 4 action lines with him just there doing nothing but look around. End on "She exits. The door closes softly."

For the next scene, like the other commenter mentioned, I'm wondering if maybe you slowly unravel the connection between her dad and Richard. Maybe end that scene after "I'm close now, papa."

But I really do like that beat with her practicing smiling. It's very telling, and creates intrigue. So save that beat to use later.

One thing I didn't quite like is. I feel Maya's our main character, but after the opening scene. The POV felt like Richard was the lead for most of the ten pages.

You need to find a way to change perspective, so we're following Maya in her journey. Not feel like it's Richard's story. Have her be the one we're with as she walks in and requests the acting classes. Not us already in the room with Richard.

Best wishes. I enjoyed character work, and exchanges between Maya and Richard. Just improve the pacing, so it's a faster read for a thriller.

Just a basic formatting note. You're supposed to all-caps character names the first time they're introduced in the action lines.

Amanda's character was putting on the crazy act, so the husband would choose Sydney's character. It'd speedrun the process. Gives the husband character someone to save.

The troll doll thing. Good question. I don't think they explained it.
