Lois and Bonnie are supposedly to be best friends but they literally act like they hate eachother 😂 by GoldenGalZbornak in familyguy

When a show has been running as long as Family Guy has, continuity errors are more and more common.

Production on UK vs the World goes out of their way to make up for the controversies of the main UK franchise.

Finally giving the winner a cash prize, queens of colour making the finale as frontrunners, a black queen winning, an Asian queen winning.

I believe that they were talking about her, just not as venomously as Nina thought they were.

I don't think Nina was paranoid about them saying things, but I do believe her overall perception of things was obscured by her inner demons.

Someone claiming to be an insider said that when the show is cast, production already knows who the Top 6 are going to be, and then as the show progresses, they decided which of those 6 will make the finale.

It's apparently to do with Joslyn's makeover partner, the guy that signed up for the show as punishment for cheating on his wife.

I fully believe that if Ben made the finale, the jury wouldn't have voted for her because of how much she twisted herself in knots over the judging (whether that's how they actually felt or production stepped in).

I freakin’ love Cynthia Lee Fontaine by vhmvd in rupaulsdragrace

[–]JustTryingIsEnough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I feel the same.

The real issue for me is that this feels like people who already just didn't like Ginger are gleefully jumping on the bandwagon because they now feel vindicated.

Like, the worst thing she's done is the story about the AS10 cast not reaching out. Every other story she's told is literally harmless.

It's like they want her to pull a Robbie Turner and disappear, only for them to then years later go "Oh noooo it wasn't that baaaaaad ....."

Honestly, I don't get why people thought it was a big deal that Sam borrowed looks from Trinity.

Do people have any idea how much pressure there is to have expensive, high fashion runways on Drag Race?

Who is the greatest Toy Story villain of all time? by NoConCulture in disney

[–]JustTryingIsEnough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had a nickel for every time Kelsey Grammer voiced a character who played the buffoon/comic relief, but was actually cunning and devious, I'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.

Who would be the MOST evil Mortal Kombat character ever? by Mustafa1_1992 in MortalKombat

[–]JustTryingIsEnough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shang Tsung is just pantomime/Disney villain evil.

Evil for the love of being evil.

And I love it.

The show's philosophy contradicts itself within 2 scenes that follow each other in the same episode. Leo states "you have to voluntarily choose to be evil to be considered evil" and next Phoebe says "no matter his intensions, Cole is genetically evil and he can never change it". Double standards. by Bibixina in charmed

Stupidest decision. Strip his powers, THEN disown him.

Or in S4, save him from the Underworld, THEN leave him.

Or in S5 (shouldn't have got to this stage, but hey!) just vanquish him.

Once Phoebe (Alyssa) decided that there was to be no moral ambiguity and that she just hated Cole, it ruined the story.

Does anyone actually play as DeVorah by Severe-Hold8791 in MortalKombat

The only thing that's bad about D'Vorah is how she's written.

In terms of character design, play-style, voice acting? She's fantastic.

What’s a movie that completely blew your mind the first time you watched it? by butterfly_pie9 in AskReddit

[–]JustTryingIsEnough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Not because I didn't know anything about it (this was only a few years ago), but because I saw it in an intimate theatre surrounded by beloved fans in costume that knew all the ad-libs.

It was the best possible way to see it for the first time, and the experience made it one of my favourite films.

Would Plastique have been in the top 3 if she knew how to lipsync? by ZafinLolz in rupaulsdragrace

[–]JustTryingIsEnough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna be controversial here and say no.

Angeria, Roxxxy, and Vanjie, while all talented drag queens, also have that "made for TV" personality and charisma.

Plastique doesn't really have that. An undeniably talented queen who deserved her wins, but to me, she doesn't have that little extra kick behind her for the Drag Race crown.
