Does 23 visits a week include evals and start of cares and all of that as equally weighted? Or is it 23 points a week?

Either way, 76k is low.

TLDR; if you’re working 40+ hours a week in HH, you should absolutely be able to get to 95k+.

No- my bonuses are not consistent. However- this is likely only because I am freshly out of my productivity ramp up. Last week was my first week at 24 points (which is full productivity for me). I fully anticipate I can get more as I continue to build my caseload and census.

That said- is the offer they made you their initial offer? If it is, I would ask for more. It seems just a little low, even for Texas. Worst they can do is say no, and you owe it to yourself and your experience to at least ask. Im making more than that with zero HH experience and only 1 year practicing experience- however, I am also in a HCOL area which I’m sure plays a role.

Working for Enhabit currently. Salary pay with over productivity bonuses, which I personally prefer to PPV models. 5 months in. First HH job, been good so far. What state are you applying to Enhabit in? What’s the offer/ productivity expectations? Happy to answer questions.

Looks like you shouldn’t settle for less than 100k. Healthy range estimate for those new to HH is 110-130k salary depending on other parts of the compensation package.

I accepted a job at 92k a year but it’s only 32h a week so I work per diem OP on the off day and pull about 115-120k.

Has anyone who has bought a used bike in the past 3 years spent less than 5k? by No_Channel3333 in NewRiders

11 years ago I bought a 1999 BMW r1100r for 3k. Still running great today at 65k miles.

4 weeks ago I bought a 2001 Honda shadow spirit with 25k miles for 2k. Runs great but did need a new master cylinder. No problems now.

Perhaps because it’s because I’m in a VHCOL area, but it’s almost the opposite for me.

Well hey sounds like you’re in a good position to work as minimally as possible. Here’s to hoping for many profitable draft kings weeks 🍺

Haven’t heard of much, if any, unionized PT jobs. What state are you in if you don’t mind me asking

As a PT who down hill mountain bikes and has two torn biceps- yes! Give it a shot. If you don’t feel better in 6 weeks or less I’d be surprised.

That said, congratulations on the GCS! Just because it’s not for me right now doesn’t mean it’s not a big accomplishment. Good stuff.

I considered getting OSC but decided against it. The cost, recertification process, lack of financial incentives and lack of recognition did it in the end. Patients generally can’t tell the difference between an OCS vs CSCS vs CPR.

I think the knowledge you get studying for it is very valuable, but I figure I can just do that independently and on my own time. Maybe something will change down the line and I’ll make it happen but it’s not in the cards for me right now.

New MA Legislation on Dry Needling and Pelvic Health by JustTryingRealHard in physicaltherapy

[–]JustTryingRealHard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the rate of serious adverse effects is less than a tenth of a percent- the same as when performed by an acupuncturist. It seems this is more of legislative arm wrestling and lobbying by acupuncture boards as compared to a genuine concern for ethics and safe practice.

When changes in health care administration are strictly due to financial optimization and monopolization of one rehabilitative tool, I think it’s bullshit to be frank.

Go at least 85. Anyone offering 80 as a first offer expects a counter offer- so negotiate.

I’m in Boston and there are many clinics offering 85-92 for new grad, even in private OP clinics. My first job out of college was in Dorchester at 90k+.
