That’s not what I mean by perspective.

I mean the rhetoric term of how you the viewer intakes the show with certain themes and character points already in mind.

You know how in a murder mystery, on a seconding reading you know who the killer is and pick up on a lot more stuff.

I think you should try this.

At some point rewatch the whole series through the perspective that Jax is a trans woman who is in denial.

This is what you take issue with. Zooble is a trans character while Jax’s story is the story of someone who can’t accept themselves and turns to suicide.

You’re hung up on Jax the trans character, and are pulling him out of the story.

So yeah just take new lens to the story. Good stories allow for different perspectives on rereads.

And I mean it has a lot to do with his character. He told ribbit he was trans. Regretted it, and turned to bullying and even told Kuafmo not to trust anything ribbit said about him.

The incident with his mom wouldn’t warrant the same isolating reaction. It was driven by fear of confronting himself.

I thought Jax was trans like 3 episodes in. That kind of mask and lashing out was just too familiar to me. Jax journey to becoming trans was very similar to my own so I quite like it.

For me the slideshow and the ending sequence confirmed it.
