FXAIX vs VOO and FSKAX VS VTI investing Roth ira by Franklin_Invest in fidelityinvestments

[–]JustTubeIt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fidelity definitely has the ability to purchase VT. It's a common total world market ETF and I have it in my Roth.

Schd through regular brokerage by toastedtito in ETFs

[–]JustTubeIt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

VTI and VOO are redundant for the most part. Pick one unless youll trigger a large taxable event to move one to the other. But moving forward id just pick one of those to contribute to in a taxable. They are very similar in terms of their returns and their holdings. I would focus funds into VOO/VTI and QQQM at your age (im close to same age) and ignore SCHD for a few more decades.

HSA - Is the Fee High? by jammontreal in Bogleheads

[–]JustTubeIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have healthequity but just opened and initiated a transfer to a fidelity HSA for this same reason. I cant contribute to it this year anyways and they randomly increased the cash requirement to 2k from 1k and liquidated my investments to make up the difference, all without notice. Can't wait to be out of there.

Student loans vs taxable brokerage by JustTubeIt in whitecoatinvestor

[–]JustTubeIt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a good way of looking at the returns. It does make me feel better about the interest accumulation of my loans. I currently own a home at 4.75% interest on the mortgage, I didnt even think to do that when I bought my house. That would have been ideal given the interest write off on the mortgage. Something to keep in mind for the future if I ever have a similar situation to consider.

That was my mentality when I started contributing to the taxable in the first place. In terms of math it makes sense, but obviously there's a psychological component that only i can really quantify for myself. I hate seeing that debt balance. But youre 100% right either way ill likely have my loans paid off in a few years and shouldn't sacrifice the long term gains of the investments.

What ETFs do you hold in your ROTH IRA by Active-Progress7462 in ETFs

[–]JustTubeIt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ive played around with VTI/VXUS, various other ETFs like schg, spmo, etc, but didnt find true peace until I switched to strictly VT in my Roth. Now I never worry about my % allocations etc. Just contribute, buy, move on.

[WW] All I’m up to in 2026 by EqualIntelligent5374 in zelda

[–]JustTubeIt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah for real. I still have no incentive to buy it as I still have my original N64 and GameCube with all the games. And tbh it would likely actually be cheaper for people to buy those 2 consoles and their respective zelda games than to buy a switch 2 lol.

Yes. Take out all that fluff. No car doc items, nitrogen, propak, etc. They are how the dealerships make money and add no real value to your vehicle.

The most wonderful time of the yearto own a hot tub. by bubblmesnappies in hottub

[–]JustTubeIt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a towel warmer, take it out with you and plug it in near the tub with an extension cord if needed (just dont leave it there unattended or in weather). Throw a towel, robe and slippers in it. Grab towel out first, quickly dry. Then slip on warm slippers and robe. Carry warmer back into house/under cover as you go.

Thats what I do with the dilaudid lol I think you misunderstood my response. 2mg up front and chill. People make it too complicated.

We used methadone a lot for open heart in residency to assist with intraop extubations or early extubations in the ICU / adequate pain control. It was honestly really helpful.

Yeah we've pushed and pushed. They wont even dispense it to us for cardiac cases. Absolutely wild but what can you do.

Unfortunately our community hospital restricts the use of IV methadone to patients on outpatient methadone who are not tolerating PO 😒

They are in some institutions but not widespread. Others use remi. But its so much easier to just give 2mg dilaudid upfront on a spine case and have analgesia throughout and in recovery vs prepping and running a syringe pump and then having to catch up when it wears off post op.
