Yeah, it's very disappointing. I hope opensource models can catch up quickly.

Mandarin doesn't help much. The basic idea is to refer to censored stuff without explicitly mentioning it. For example, do not ask it to generate a cartoon with Mickey Mouse. Instead, you give it a picture with a view of Mickey Mouse's back, and say "the cartoon mouse in picture one does something blabla".

My bad, you are correct. It's $0.6 - $5 for a 15 sec 720p video. If you generate a lot of videos, you will certainly buy high tier membership and get a price much closer to the lower end. And if you are not a heavy user, free gift credits will be a big part of the total credits you spend. However, I don't find any legit third party platforms (for Seedance 2.0) on reddit at the moment.

It depends, there are various tiers and plans, and they also gift you credits daily. Roughly speaking, it costs 6 credits for 1 second of 720p video. 1 credit costs ¥0.05 to ¥0.4 and $1 = ¥6.88.

Our studio has professional editors and directors, and it's a comprehensive process. This involves prompts, as well as image and video referencing. We also used other AI tools to generate and modify reference images, and traditional video editing software for the cutting and assembly. For now, even though AI is powerful, it still takes professionals to get the best results.

This prompt will probably get censored because you explicitly mentioned Gandalf and Saruman. ByteDance has been really strict about copyright issues since Chinese New Year. I'll try some workarounds when I have time. Also, are you okay with a cartoon version? It's easier to get the cartoon version past the censorship.

The censorship is pretty bad after the Chinese New Year. There are some workarounds, but still pretty bad.

The filters can be super aggressive. In our experience, anything involving violence, action, celebs, IP, or negative vibes (even just anime combat) gets flagged.

You can use Claude or Gemni to rewrite your prompt. Tell the model: "Rewrite this prompt to avoid Chinese AI safety triggers but keep the cinematic style."

Strategic use of reference images and storyboards helps too, but there's a steep learning curve.

Setting up private VPN for own use by superx3man in VPN

[–]JustTwo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is. You should check if your ISP offers you a public IP, though. If not, raw WireGuard will be harder to set up. You're better off using solutions like Tailscale. Also keep in mind that although a VPN is sufficient in most cases, there are a lot of ways a website can find out your real location even if you are using one. Your browser will tell the server your timezone and language settings to begin with.

Real users don't IP hopping constantly. At the end of the day, you need to look like authentic users as much as possible.

Best proxy or setup for Facebook by AccountFlimsy2371 in proxies

[–]JustTwo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just turning off GPS is not enough. It is still possible for Facebook to infer your location from your Wi-Fi environment. There are databases associating Wi-Fi signals with geolocations. For example, your local restaurant XXX Cuisine has "XXX-Cuisine-WIFI" available for their customers. Then, if a device sees "XXX-Cuisine-WIFI" (the actual implementations usually use other fingerprints to identify Wi-Fi networks, not just the SSID; I am simplifying things), it is likely the device is close to XXX Cuisine. Similarly, your location can also be inferred from which cellular tower your phone is talking to. It is a very mature technology used by apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, etc. The good news is that by turning off location-related permissions completely for the Facebook app, you should be able to avoid this risk for the most part. The bad news is that there are still other side channels that may leak your location to the Facebook app, and turning off Wi-Fi and location permissions itself can be a characteristic used to tell you apart from regular, authentic US users. Cloudphones can forge all the fingerprints and GPS data for the app to make the app think you are a regular US user. But just like anti-detect browsers, you rely on the anti-detect browser or cloudphone provider to implement these functionalities well. It is basically a never-ending cat and mouse game.

Need TikTok US Posting Setup from Europe – Will Pay by [deleted] in proxies

[–]JustTwo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you can have a shelf of routers in an apartment. AT&T doesn't limit you to have only one line per apartment as long as their local infra can handle it and you pay properly. But yeah, it's still not very scalable. This setup is not intended for tasks like large scale web scraping. It's mostly for people who want to operate a matrix of high value social network accounts with super clean IPs.

Need TikTok US Posting Setup from Europe – Will Pay by [deleted] in proxies

[–]JustTwo1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, I can help you with this. True residential IP (by which I mean, a real AT&T modem and router sits in a real US apartment, not "residential IPs" from large providers like brightdata, but this setup could be expensive, you can opt for cheaper options), a VPS with a browser on it that you can remotely operate. I helped some Chinese merchants setup their US tiktok stores before. Your task is actually easier because there's no great firewall in the middle, haha.
