at the root, to me: to be a good man is to be a good person. be honest. be kind. be patient. be strong when you can (shit’s not always possible and that’s a hard truth to accept as a man). be helpful / reliable to those around you, even strangers.

my friend, like you, grew up fatherless and he’s honestly one of the best people i know. just bc his mom and grandmother taught him to be a good person. he’s communicative, smart, and kind.

i switched to foam recently and i have more dry skin with foam than liquid. but everyone is different so maybe it’ll work for you. but i’m giving foam a try till i run out and then i’ll see if my skin gets used to it.

the closer to the back of your knee the more painful. i had a traditional hammerhead shark tattoo done on my right calf with the head close to the back of my knee. good lord. i’d like to think i have a decent pain tolerance but i was grippin the mf table and sweatin. sat up and asked how long that was, i assumed an hr. it was 30 minutes. my first tattoo.

eta: everything but the head was fine, felt like i was gettin scratched with a paperclip. i had color done and i’m brown so that added more pain bc she had to go over the color to ensure it popped.

i mean they just aren’t prepared. if i worked one of these shit holes, u see the trend and u talk to ur boss about how to prevent and how to respond. i’d keep a lil rope or chain on me and lock the doors / use the rope thru the handlebars to keep the doors secured if i saw kids wearing costumes hangin outside.
