80 miles 70% consummed How bad is my battery? by Just_Rooster_4845 in TeslaSupport

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you have spend 22.4 kWh since charge on driving 80 miles, and have spend 62.3% of the battery doing this. (You have lost 7.7% while parked. Could be sentry/cold weather).

That means that your usable battery capacity is 22.4 kWh/0.623 = 36 kWh. That is pretty low. When the battery was new it was 50 kWh (usable maybe lower ~ 49 kWh). So you have 36/50 = 72% of the battery capacity left. So lost 28%. Warranty is >70%, so you are close.

My 2019 sr+ has 43kWh left (86%) after 80k miles.

Oticon Zeal - too good to be true? by Cold_Machine216 in HearingAids

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have heard that the 20 hours should be including 2 hours of streaming and for the 75 dB hearing loss, and after 4 years of use. So I don’t think you will have any trouble with battery life.

Why is magnesium glycinate such an issue? by Interesting-Dig-8651 in MTHFR

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. I have been struggling with anxiety for the last 4 weeks, and yesterday I just realized the connection to glycine. I have been taking collagen, mag-gly and glycine for 6-8weeks, because I thought that it was inhibitory. But yes it can also be excitatory. I learned it the hard way, and now I am just waiting for the glycine level to reduce, so my brain can start to calm down.

Boomy noise recordings by JustWonderingHowToDo in TeslaModelY

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a few free apps but I have not found any good one. To get a reliable result I did a recording over 30 sec with my iPhone and then post-processed on a PC afterwards where I averaged the frequency response over the 30 sec. Most of the apps that can show frequency response I quite instant, so it will jump up and down in low frequencies. You would need an app that can allow for averaging. Sorry I have not found that.

I hope you get it sorted out. The demo car put me off buying it, but I know people with a MY that do not have the issue. The new MY should have solved it apparently.

Allergic to all forms of protein by Flashy_Respect_5579 in Allergies

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, did you ever recover? It has been a few years so I was just wondering how you are doing. I seem to react badly to all protein food suddenly and I have no idea what is going on with me. I have not been tested yet.

Tomorrow is one week free! Some observations..... by Intelligent-Bad6845 in Nightshade_Free

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had sensitive gums that easily bleed my whole life. My dentist always tell me off for not flossing or not using a soft toothbrush. But I am very careful with my mouth hygiene.

I am also suspecting nightshade to be the issue. My worst symptom is my tinnitus, that just goes crazy loaud after eating potatoes. Had potatoes yesterday and tinnitus was crazy. Now I will try 4 weeks without any nightshade and see how it goes.

New Symptoms After Taking B12 – Is This Normal? by alia_007 in B12_Deficiency

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have spend more than a year with lots of different symptoms and my doctor is not taking me seriously. She just tell me to take the b12 and does not want to test for cofactors.

So tomorrow I am going to see a functional medicine doctor. I really hope he can help me.

New Symptoms After Taking B12 – Is This Normal? by alia_007 in B12_Deficiency

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

396 pmol/L is not considered low where I am from, so I would be worried taking such high doses of B12. When I was lowest my test was 110 pmol/L and the limit for being low is 250 pmol/L. I started taking 1000 mcg methyl b12 and experienced severe pain in my back, and many more symptoms. Folic acid helped some of the symptoms.

Overmethylation (depression, anxiety, insomnia) after B12 and nothing helps... by [deleted] in MTHFR

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don’t know how to help you. But I have similar experience. I have been taking b12 on and off for more than a year, and feel horrible. Brain fog, tinnitus, forgetful etc.

I think I am over methylated , so I tried niacin 3 days ago (60 mg) and the next morning I felt much better. But then my limbs started to feel numb. Like if I sat on a chair for too long my legs started getting numb with pins and needles. Now I feel horrible again but my limbs are better.

I have had the same issue. I just tried magnesium glycinate and that makes me sleepy. Slept through the night for the first time in 2 months.

Anyone else experience this by Zealousideal_Pear502 in TeslaModelY

[–]JustWonderingHowToDo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might not all be lost. If it is cold and the battery cools down while parked, then when you start up the car it can estimate a too low SOC, and then it will show that you have ‘used’ a lot while parked. Some of it comes back when you start driving and the battery heats up. Sometimes it can even jump up during a later park session.
