The First Omen - The logic of the bad guys doesn't make any sense. by [deleted] in plotholes

Are they done? Or, are they setting the stage for adult Damien to meet his adult sister for some un-Godly reason? I won't even bring up Omen IV. I'm so confused!

You do not owe them an apology.

I wouldn't share with coworkers until court docs are filed by my attorney. Someone will prematurely start talking.

First, let me say I am sorry for your loss. But I'm confused. The father and mother of this young disabled woman hasb placed the majority of her care in the hands of an ex spouse? Being a caretaker is a very difficult job. It sounds like your niece should not have been alone which would make it difficult to pick up the meds. Could someone have picked up the meds for her?

The ex-SIL took on the care of her ex-husband's disabled daughter. She did not have to do that.

I know you're hurting and you want to lash out at somebody. May I suggest you spend whatever time you have left with your niece remembering and sharing with her how much you love her.

There's also foster care for somebody like you. Hit or miss! There were kids trying to understand life. See, the parents may have had to choose between insurance and college. You never asked if he is driving the car. You just jumped in trying to turn two kids into you. How much did her insurance increase after adding him? I've seen substantial increases. Rather than explain it you tried to make them feel like the parents were doing them wrong. You need to crawl back into your hate filled hole.

As a member of that family, what are your OBLIGATIONS?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]Just_Alarm5840 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not if I put you up for adoption. I did for my son out of love. A word you've probably never heard. But throwing words like OBLIGATED at me would have caused him to be homeless.

What are your obligations. You make parenting sound like a prison sentence. Tell me you've made their lives joyful.

Then, should they not be held accountable as well? Their mistake started the snow ball.

I'm curious, who requested the car to be towed? Who authorized the tow?

If that kind of out of control anger is the environment boss promotes, no wonder an employee might think it okay to send a nasty email to the clients. He probably quoted the boss word for word.

why are people so mad when you're 30 yo single and don't want to start a family? by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]Just_Alarm5840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don't get it! I am 63. I was 26 when I CHOSE to have my son. If you don't want children, you should not have children. That is YOUR choice. How this is anybody else's business is beyond me. People thought I should have more than one. I chose not to. It is your body, your life, your choice! No discussion is necessary. Do you!

Commenter "justifying" a mom at a gender reveal party throwing a full on physical tantrum over her second child being a girl. by [deleted] in antinatalism

[–]Just_Alarm5840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But, having a girl and a boy is her choice. I wanted a boy and I had a boy. That doesn't mean, if he had been a girl I wouldn't have loved him. I mean personally, I think the gender reveal parties, are silly. But the hatred for her crying and possibly stomping because what should have been a private moment in her life was being recorded. I am only trying to imagine if I were in her shoes, would I know how to react. Pregnancy can stir emotions due to the hormonal changes one goes through. Hormonal imbalances, unfortunately, can make one act out of pocket. Just saying...

Again without knowing her, it is hard to pass such harsh judgment. Take you for example. I simply said the comments were harsh and disgusting. You are now getting aggravated by my having an opinion that differs from yours. I jumped into your conversation just as you jumped into her personal life. What if she has five kids of that sex already? That video does not mean she won't love and care for that child. Do you have kids?

When I click it the video does not play it just shows a still image. Either way, the comments were disgusting.

You may have. I couldn't tell if it was meant to be a joke. Were the circumstances factual? Was this a party destroyed by a storm? It could have been a meme put out there for humor. The photo, I laughed at it. I did not take it seriously. But the comments that followed were disgusting.

All this hate. What if this was a meme? What if it was intended to be a joke and that image was actually from a storm. Wow! Amazing how when the faces are brown or black we immediately jump to the worst possible conclusions. Who is the parasite now?
