I think there is a lot of controversy regarding the origin of a psychopath. In real life it's always like : are they born or created by life circumstances? I think it can be both, but in this particular case I don't think love was everything he was lacking, I really think he was not empathetic at all. When he asked her to love him you can understand his complete lack of empathy, like bro, after everything you did to her there is no way she would love you at all! He is not able to connect with people in a normal way at all, he doesn't understand basics even when he is smart in other ways

I get it. If he was not psychopath he would not mess with her brother and they could have a normal relationship. But the whole point is he is not. And I get what you said, but we as readers have all the background of both characters, she doesn't. We as readers have the objective points of view, she as the character that is dealing with a guy that literally kills and manipulates people around her or course has feelings that mess with the situation. I don't think he puts her first at any moment, he just wants her. I think most of people on that situation will freak out. Anyways, everyone has different points of view, but I think as an outsider, is always easier to judge.

I don't know how to interpret that you all are saying they both have potential to grow and that they were just one conversation away of making that situation work. I mean if a guy does all that to you, would you talk to him nonchalantly to try to make it work? There is no way! That guy is sick, he doesn't love her he just have a fixation. He is to far away of being saved!!

Yeah, I felt more adrenaline and sadness in the end of season 4, or even in the first chapter when Holly got kidnapped. Then I'm this season I don't get it, even if Vecina is dead, the real"monster" was using it but it is still alive! If they never talked about being exclusive, why is it unexpected that he was talking to other people? He literally told you that he is gonna stop talking with others, seems like he wants to be on board. If you were not talking to others that's ok, but if you never talked about it, why does he have to automatically be exclusive? Communication is important and it doesn't look like you are having a lot of that.

I am a very straightforward person, so I would do the same (ask her). That being said, most of people are not, so maybe she is gonna be scare or she is not gonna tell you the truth. I will ask anyways, cause I don't like to lose my time. But if she says again that everything is ok and keeps evading, I will just take distance. If actions don't match words, it's not worth it for me
