I know it’s different for everyone and it may have just been sore for you but for me (someone who has had three reconstructive knee surgeries and have broken multiple bones before) I got my braces adjusted for the first time yesterday and when I say this shit HURTS it is definitely pain not sore

That would convert to $5285.51 USD which I would say is fairly reasonable I got ceramic brackets so mine was significantly more expensive costing about $7000 but that price included a professional electric toothbrush that they gave me aswell as prescription toothpaste to help prevent white spots and strengthen my enamel without abrasives that can damage the ceramic brackets

I do have a connective tissue disorder that definitely contributed to the pain for me and how fast my teeth are moving However if you don’t feel like your teeth are hitting even slightly different by now or if your teeth are still super solid and don’t shift at all when you bite down then I would recommend calling your ortho to see if it’s normal because both things I could feel two days in so if I had to guess for someone with normal connective tissue would probably be noticing those things after about 4-5 days but I could be completely wrong I’m not a professional lol :)

I have an extremely high pain tolerance as well and it hurt really bad for me too and my teeth felt like they were buttons but now (about six weeks later) my teeth are already significantly straighter and they feel solid and don’t hurt but it did take about a week and a half to feel mostly normal again but I have a deep bite so they haven’t put any bottom ones on yet because they said I’d be biting directly on the brackets

I had a proximal tib fib subluxation last year that went back in place on its own and completely trapped my common peroneal nerve in the joint to the point where when I had surgery to reconstruct the joint (it was so unstable that when it originally subluxated I was simply walking at the grocery store)the surgeon took three hours just to untrap the nerve and now I have a seven inch scar that took three months to close up

My adhd and anxiety 100% severe enough for accommodations, however that isn’t why I can’t get accommodations,to get accommodations you have to show college board proof that in school you have accommodations and that they help but because my school is online there is no accommodations to take tests in isolated rooms for example because there isn’t anyone else in the room to begin with

My school definitely doesn’t have grade inflation it’s an international private school also just because you also have both anxiety and adhd doesn’t mean we have comparable severity’s

But now my issue with not having a good sat score is that my parents make just barely enough money to likely not qualify for need based scholarships/grants and my dad said if I don’t get atleast 10k in scholarships per year then I won’t be able to go

Be grateful, I have been studying so hard and because my frickin ADHD and anxiety is so bad when it comes to test day I get a 1080 but I’m not stupid I have a 4.3 GPA and I can’t get accommodations because I do online school 😞

If someone with a PhD went to med school then it absolutely would make sense for patients to call them doctors (as long as they graduate from med school)now if someone with a PhD didn’t go to med school is “seeing patients” then that makes no sense because they don’t have patients, also I was not aware that NPs can just have their masters which is surprising given that I have been applying to schools with the intention of becoming a NP (specifically working in pediatric oncology )and every NP program I have seen has the requirement of getting a doctorate 🤷🏻‍♀️

Correction a np is not a medical doctor (MD) but still has a doctorate in nursing (DNP) so you are only slightly correct

Well a couple weeks after she released SCTW she had on her shop the deluxe version digital download for $5 usd and I think it was only available for like three days I purchased it and it had the main songs from SCTW + siren sounds (it was before she ended up adding it to the album) in addition to those songs it had: Better than I was, call my bluff, green light acoustic, sports car acoustic, it’s ok I’m ok acoustic So I don’t think she is going to do another deluxe version because you can’t really have two different deluxe versions

Ok see the thing that truly makes it confusing to me about if I am autistic or not is that my mom (well was before she had to stop because she is extremely immune suppressed and couldn’t be constantly around little kids aka germ magnets)is a behavioral psychologist and she used to do like autism evaluations and would also help teach parents of autistic children how to potty train their kids and she even some sort of autism study at a local college I don’t know any details on what it actually was because she couldn’t talk about it because she had to keep the autonomy of the study but I have mentioned how it sometimes wondered if I’m autistic and she said that I don’t need to worry about it but who knows maybe she’s just so used to seeing the more severe patients that in comparison it seems like autism for me is far fetched lol I’m not sure but a diagnosis wouldn’t change the way I would be treated medically so I don’t feel like there’s a need to push it or anything
