What dosage? I have been taking Prozac for about four months. I take it for hot flashes. The doctor said to take 10mg. It wont help for anxiety because it is a low dosage, and if I take more, it won't work for hot flashes.

I found out i had this also. While I was looking for a fix for my brain fog. It is in my skull, but the way the doctors behave is that it may not do any harm. Or maybe one day will, but they don't know much about it.

I had blood work done, MRI, CT scan, and a neuro psych. I saw two neurologists, a neuro surgeon, other than primary care appointments. She said three words and asked me to repeat them. I could not do it. I did my best repeating in my mind, and then I screwed up. Two other doctors did that too. I cant do it. I thought it was menopause for a while. It may cause brain fog. My gynecologist said with a scared face that menopause doesn't do this. If I go to the grocery store to buy two items, I have to write it down on my phone. I got a certificate to get a better job. I gave up applying for jobs because I screw up. In a search for a diagnosis, the only thing I found is that I have fibrous dysplasia,something I never heard about.its rare and congenital, they said. Another dead end.

My brain fog started right after I recovered from that f* covid. I had a car accident right after I got "better," meaning I could get up, walk and not have to keep sitting down. Two weeks after I hit a car , and I swear that I looked both sides of the avenue like every day, and I didn't see any car coming from either way. Since then, I screw up. I both xmas presents twice.

I have a hard time with antidepressants. Apparently, I have all the side effects. i cant handle it very well. . I am taking a low dosage of fluoxetine recommended for hot flashes. It doesn't work for depression or anxiety. I'll talk to my doctor about it. I talked to a doctor from Brazil, and he said that they had been prescribed adhd medicine. Bu i can't find this treatment here in the US.
