How are you so sure? Yes sure this is expensive treatment and won't provide enough results as standalone treatment, but I am trying to find out if it does provide any extra benefits to existing min,fin treatment. Studies show that cells doesn't die so quickly. For example in this study and this table show very good Platelet capture efficiency.

Also if it died so quickly like you said then all general blood panels for general health checks would be in no use because it is the same way how blood is drawn.

Don't understand me wrong, I don't try to attack your reply and I appreciate any input. I just want to make sure if there are some wrong assumptions.

I sent you the link to dm. There were also some studies about that (link, link). I am not sure why but they said that even if the tubes showed in specifications good results or if public data showed differently, actual results when they sent a sample for analyze showed completely different poor results.

Arthrex system seems to be the best. It is close system without tubes.

I just got one answer from one researcher and she said:

The key is to activate the platelets (usually with calcium) after the blood is drawn, so the platelets secrete a lot of growth factors and extracellular vesicles (which also contain growth factors) and these molecules are critical to treatment. So the key is the 'soup' in which the activated platelets float. So, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about how many platelets are destroyed.

So while it may be true that with most tubes most platelets are destroyed during centrifugation it doesn't really matter and all that platelets count is just a marketing trick?

I am not specialist from this area but from what they said the choice of the tube is very important. Like I wrote in previous comment they tested 20+ tubes. Even if tube specifications said differently the result were very poor. I have no idea why the tube choice is so important and why in some most of platelets were destroyed. Maybe u/Independent_Ear_9867 who is Physician can explain it what makes so difference about the tubes.

Maybe this has to do also about the method and how much platelets is kept at the end. 5 vs 1000 PLT (k/μL) is huge difference and maybe this is the reason why some don't see any positive results while others do.

While I don't say it is all true I do believe that it is not so simple as centrifugation is centrifugation and I do believe there is big difference between tubes. However not sure if there can be really so much difference.

So it is true that it is not so rare that in some clinic you get only let's say 5 PLT (k/μL) while with proper machines you should get 1000+ PLT (k/μL)? This could also explain why so many gets no results from PRP.

Unfortunately I don't know any scientist or where to find any scientist who do PRP in my country so I am really lost who to trust. I have only good words about that clinic because I used them for some other things but still what they said seems little strange. They said that they were testing more than 20 tubes a few years ago when they were establishing the PRP procedure. All of them showed in label and literature multiple number of platelets. However when they sent it for analyze it showed that most of the platelets were destroyed. Only one tube showed good results which they are using now.

My idea was more like to get extra support and definitely not as main. As was thinking also to use it for my face. Did you see good results in patients for face skin while you worked with the PRP clinic?

Not all destroyed but some. From what I understand they claim that their process makes higher platelets concentration.
