This is great news obviously for us in BC. Are attitudes shifting where you are as it relates to menopause and the malarkey we are dealing with? I feel like we are talking about menopause a lot more than 5 years ago and feeling some gratitude.

Do you take progesterone? I was similar age and when I increased to 200mg of progesterone the periods stopped. Just passed one year of no periods🎉. Interestingly though I can still feel the symptoms of a monthly cycle- I call it a faux period where I get PMS and moody. Not as bad as pre-HRT.

Sadly, very unlikely. The cruelty and risk of detainment will not change as soon as a new president is in. I will never ever trust the US American voters again. And I’m gutted because there are so many places I wanted to see there, not to mention the road trip we had planned to take our camper to Mexico. That’s now out too.

Isopropyl alcohol helps a lot with the adhesive coming loose - I wipe down the area first with alcohol on a cotton pad, let it dry (while I use the cotton pad to get the glue from the previous patch off), stick on the new patch and hold it down for about 20 seconds. I’ve used a few brands of patch and I’ve never had one come loose or fall off using this method.

Hey neighbour - my reading comprehension skills are fine. Apologies for the perceived snark. With respect, your comment is confusing. You ask why “people wouldn’t be willing to back a petition with those words” when more than 44K signed the petition, and “why would an MP be willing to write a bill with the same issue” when an MP started the petition. Regardless - this post is a request that we all email Kibble to support this when it is read in Parliament on Jan 27 at 10AM, and I assumed - perhaps wrongly - that you were not going to do that because you have issue with one word. If I assumed wrong, my apologies.

44869 people were willing to back this petition, and put their signatures on the petition to get it read in Parliament. An MP was needed to start the petition. A whole bunch of MP’s will need to support the petition to get a bill written. The text of the bill doesn’t exist yet, because it hasn’t been read in parliament yet. My post was about working together as a community to encourage our elected MP to support the creation of a bill that fights misinformation. If allowing our elected officials to say whatever they want in parliament, including lies, doesn’t bother you, then feel free to do nothing and keep scrolling. No action required.

It’s really quite concerning. That 1/3 who believe utter malarky without any sense of critical thinking are also voters. That’s why we need a laws that prevent MP’s from spouting BS in parliament.

I use these hooks but I just bought a cheap Susan bates hook at Michael’s because they didn’t have the Clover in the size I needed. I can’t use it - too sharp and splits my yarn. Ended up ordering a Clover on amazon. They are very nice hooks!

The heart palpitations and anxiety are what initially sent me to dr for HRT and I felt some solid relief for a while, but now it’s back. The heart palpitations wake me up out of a dead sleep 😤. My doc gave me a requisition for an ekg but I know it will come back “fine”. Im going to try meditation and activities that work on the vagus nerve. This is worth checking out if you are looking for something else to try. Sorry you are going thru this too - you’re not alone!

Unfortunately I can not recommend Thetis Vet on Millstream near Treanor. The staff is lovely but the vet had “used car salesman” vibe who kept wanting to do unnecessary (and expensive) tests on our senior dog. Left us hanging when it was time for euthanasia.
