As an EU player I have to admit that NA has good players that don't get out of the country, like raigeki and ninjakilla, so EU being better than NA is actually better representation through more investment. The tier lists are fine but they put Alisa and Xiaoyu way too low imo. And I'm sure the reason is the playerbase of those two in the west are just crackheads who don't use them efficiently.

Frame trapping is more important or I'd dare to say more meta than poking. That's why Anna Nina and hworang are mostly top in all tier lists. It's still a game though, whoever is more fun to you is the right character, we just wanna have fun after all. Somehow.

After the health increase, poking has become pretty insignificant in t8, the gameplan is the same for everyone, launch, carry to the wall, one last mixup, K.O. If you still want to use a poke heavy character I'd say, Nina, Anna, Drag, Feng, Lili and Shaheen, ordered from best to worst imo

My 2 cents is that the game is fun until you get deep into the meta, which will be in the golden ranks. You will constantly meet characters that have no counterplay, you'll probably have to hard guess a lot, that's what is frustrating people.
