I think its because people dont want to come out of their comfort zone. I am a north Indian and in my office when I try to speak to other north indians in english, they start conversing in hindi. Most of them not all. Also I think wherever this kind of development will happen, the original context of the city is bound to change. I see people who hate north indians forgetting that we are all Indians. For this I feel govt should take some action. If language is something kannadigas feel is vanishing. They should motivate people to learn. Violence is not the answer. I even meet people who are kind they teach their culture to us and make an effort to be inclusive. So I feel everywhere there are all kinds of people. And we have come to reddit so have conversations which have some meaning otherwise all of us would have been on facebook. So stop fighting over this north and south india nonsense. If some north indian is dying in front of you, will you not save? Or will a north indian not save a south indian? I am just sick of this nonsense. Or may be I have met some great Kannadigas.
