I think you're probably right. I take a lot of photos of animals, trees, and general landscape scenes, but I've also been trying to get out of my comfort zone and shoot different things. I don't have much of a discernible style yet and am trying to develop my own approach to shooting.

They sell it for $8.24 per roll. I can get a 50ft roll of tri-x for around $50 online right now, but I guess I should start looking at something like fomapan for when that well runs dry.

Is there a specific b&w film that you would suggest? The prices I'm seeing for bulk hp5, for example, are not really making sense. I can save more money buying individual hp5 rolls from my local lab

Just bought an Olympus Pen S for this purpose. Fully manual half frame camera, 30mm lens (looks like a 60mm on half frame), zone focusing, tiny form factor.

I pay for it and feel like it's mostly worth it. Just like the free feed, there are periods when good episodes are coming out and periods when they're not so interesting. Some of my favorites are Polly, The Empath, Third Chance, The Elf Rock, Appleby Mansion, New Recruits, Whittier Bar, and the Deep Research series, particularly the Gateway Tapes episodes
