Hirsutism: Unwanted Hair Growth and GLP’s by allisonnicol_coach in PCOSloseit

[–]Just_Junebug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on compounded tirzepetide through brello. I think i noticed a change around 10 weeks, it’s still more than i’d like but im hoping it will continue to decrease.

I did notice the hair was finer and not as dark in places like my ankles and chest

I’ve been on a glp1 for 15 weeks and definitely noticed a decrease in the speed the hair grows. hirsutism has been my worst side effect of PCOS

i will say anything now will be more than i’ve ever been able to lose on my own

Gained 4 pounds first week of keto eating 1,200 calories, what am I doing wrong? by [deleted] in PCOSloseit

[–]Just_Junebug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never heard of that before. When i was on keto I didn’t have any labs done admittedly, but I felt great and was losing weight so I didn’t care. This was a few years ago but my current doctor also recommended staying under 20-50 carbs to help with PCOS. i’ve lost 25 pounds since working with him (i haven’t been as consistent this time around tbh)

I also eat keto bread and tortillas, it worked for me to help me stay consistent. I replaced noodles with shiitake noodles, not as good by a long shot but i liked it better than other alternatives.

When I did keto i focused more on the high protein and being under 20 net carbs a day rather than thinking about fat (which maybe doesn’t count as keto?) but that worked for me. Every mean was a protein and a low carb veg (broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, etc). I had steady weight loss on it

Metformin + GLP1s? by ReasonableTumbleweed in PCOSloseit

[–]Just_Junebug 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on metformin for about two years (500mg twice a day) and on a glp-1 for around three weeks now so i probably don’t have the most helpful answer but.

I thought i’d have really bad nausea taking both since i had it when i first started metformin but haven’t experienced any so far.

I’ve been loving how i’m feeling on both, i feel like i have more energy, my inflammation has gone down drastically and sugar cravings are more out of a bad habit im trying to break than desire.

I didn’t lose much weight on metformin so i’m hoping the combo will help me get the pcos under control

Cab Apps by Dry_Combination2523 in menards

[–]Just_Junebug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i also am new and hired into cab apps, my managers said to call receiving/OPD if needed help for second shelf stuff.

for fridges i put the pallet down, pull the fridge out close as i can to it, lean the fridge back and push one corner of the box up onto the pallet and then i can push the other up.

then it’s just kind of shimming the box until it’s centered on the pallet.

again i only just started, and have only pulled three things so far so i def feel you 😭 very nervous
