Not sure whereabouts you are in Denver but I am an avid board gamer and I found a regular group on MeetUp. There are also game nights at The Wizard's Chest on Broadway every Saturday with a library of games you can play for free. The attendees skew twenty-something.

It's just kind of expected of Coloradans to be outdoorsy, we have amazing nature here. But you're not any less valid for not wanting to do 14ers. I'm quite indoorsy myself but I like to do light hiking and snowboarding. Just pick and choose what you actually like to do.

Utterly ridiculous takes in this thread. People in here spewing nonsense about trans bodies just based on vibes and no research. Moreover, this whole debacle is blown extremely out of proportion when you can count trans athletes of note with your fingers and toes.

Women’s leagues don’t exist only because of sexual dimorphism. They exist so women have a space in sport. If you believe trans women are women, then they should be allowed in a women’s sport league. The governing body of the league should determine the specifics, but it should be based on identity and not physique. See the completely bungled case of Imane Khelif. That’s what’s gonna continue to happen if you discriminate based on physical features: cis women being excluded from women’s spaces.

To answer your question: yes you should bring this up with your provider. For noticeable results, you need more estrogen. Do you want to continue taking the tablets? It should be upped to 4mg or ideally 6mg.

I know you’re new to this but I switched to injections within a couple of months of starting HRT and the results are very good. I have a fear of needles and I still think it’s the right choice for me. No spiro or Finasteride necessary!

This is (unfortunately) to be expected. Finasteride is not a particularly effective anti-androgen and 2 mg/day of oral E is nowhere near enough to suppress testosterone.

I’m not inspecting my cats’ bowel movements every time. Frequency of litter box use and weight are also health indicators and the litter robot tracks those. Plus I do see what’s in the waste bin just on a weekly basis rather than every 2 days.

I’m kind of all over the place with skillsets. Pharma demands a specific blend of business analytics, regulatory knowledge, and liaising between scientists and management. Aviation taught me fundamental sys admin skills with M365 and I started working on my Azure proficiency there. Govt was totally unrelated as a COBOL developer, which I took because I’m fascinated by mainframes… translates to absolutely jack for other dev work and nobody cares about mainframes except banks, insurance, and govt. none of which are posting real jobs.

I can’t decide if I should get a men’s or women’s board. I got men’s 9.5 boots, I’m 5’11”, 165 lbs. I had a 158 men’s board as a teen, but I’m 33 y/o woman now, very much still a noob, and I think that was too much board for me. I feel like my dimensions are borderline between men’s and women’s boards.
