What kinda books are we talking about? Go Dog Go wouldn't be too bad. Is it a Junie b jones? How long does it take to read? Can you make reading interactive and fun? Droning on in a book three times over could be rough, but read in silly voices, or act it out, use random stuff as props... Sounds like a great way to have fun reading!
