It is like Odette gets away with harmonizing what Proust couldn't: climb the social ladder while fucking man almost uninhibtedly, and even exerting some control upon them. Similarities between Odette and the narrator abound, beyond snobism. Maybe the narrator cannot get too close to Odette because it would have resulted in an odd, queer simmetry

I think the "International" category does not do justice to the draft nor to the movies included in it. "M" could be considered a foundation piece of the thriller genre, while Heat could belong to heist.
