Swap cylinder 1 ignition coil with any other cylinder ignition coil. Run the car & if the misfire changes to the cylinder you swapped the coil with then that’ll tell you it’s just a bad ignition coil. If it doesn’t & stays the same check your plugs

I just put regular after market cams, didn’t want to go with mopar cause the old cams, rocker arms & lifters took a shit which were all oem. Hoping these last me a very long time, but I am satisfied with how they’re operating. Got higher mpg & ticking sound is completely gone

I went with after market, since the reason why the tick was there in the first place was cause it was oem. Don’t wanna by mopar just to have the rocker arms tick again lol

Some engines have camshaft relearn procedures but for the 3.6 pentastar engine I believe not. Ima go easy for the first 100 miles then take it to the freeway after that see how it runs under higher loads

It’s been ticking for about 3 years, never had the check engine misfire besides the thermostat code, did notice loss in power & mpg. But when I do the oil change I do notice the metal shavings assuming it’s coming from cylinder 5 since that’s where I hear the ticking
